It all started when the human world had gone extinct and all the supernaturals had to fight for themselves and that is exactly how I got myself in this fucked up situation .
You see Sapphires were separated into four main Religions:
1.Abigolus
2.Skitsofrenn
3.Dustlin
4.Shadenz
The founders of these religions were the children of two Gods. The God of life and the God of death.
The God of life had a daughter named Dustlin and a son named Shadenz.
The God of death had a son named Skitsofrenn and a daughter named Abigolus.
Like normal love stories Abigolus disobeyed her father's command to stay away from Shadenz or else she will face a deadly curse. Cutting the long history lesson short she faced a curse that can cause any Sapphires life to end.
The God of death cursed all Abigolians by taking away there ability to sense their mate, thus ensuring them a lonely life.The only way for Abigolians to find their mate , is if their mate marks them. Only then will the curse be lifted.
Pretty messed up.
Now I know what you must be thinking , how will one know in which cult you belong. Well each Sapphire is born and then marked with a tattoo of their cults symbol.
When a child reaches the age of 10 he/she will have to choose between following the path of a healer or a hunter.
An as we know society today , of course all women will be expected to become healers and have babies and all that while the men train as hunters to save their families , blah , blah , blah. I however have never and never will care about society. So yes you guessed it ... I am a hunter.
