Sapphires

Chapter 1

It was cold and rainy when I heard shouting coming from the West. I tried signaling my troops to go around the village and prepare for a surprise attack. It was going well until a lovely visit from a grenade came and caused a unbearable sound in my ears. When I finally adjusted my hearing , there was blood all around me , blood of my fellow soldiers. And that is when I heard men , no wait -not men- Skitsofrenn soldiers, shouting for me to surrender and I did as I was told.
They dragged me back to their base and beat me until I all I could see was a world of blackness.

"Wake up , Hudson !"

"Get your ass up and unload your bags , we are here ."

I was awakened by the vicious shouting of my commander. I looked at my phone and saw that is was only 8 am. Bloody bitch woke me up for this?

So its been about a week since I left my base and was informed that I will be staying with some General and his Alpha son. Apparently their pack had been nice enough to welcome me as a member of their 'family'...
I would only be staying here for a while, until I had recovered from the war. I know its protocol but I am positive that their is nothing wrong with me , but I was too tired to put up a fight and honestly I just wanted a bed and a hot shower right now.

I got out of the car only to see a HUGE house in front of me. A old man with greyish hair was standing on the porch. I quickly got my stuff from the boot and before I knew it, my bitch of a commander drove away, leaving me there with only my gun and about 3 pocket knives hidden away in my bag.You never know if they might be a family of serial killers.

I slowly started walking up to the porch. I greeted the General with a straight figure and my best attempt at a solute.

"Good morning sir."

He saluted back.

"Morning . You must be Hudson, come in dear ,breakfast is getting cold."

I stood there waiting to see if it was a test , because he started walking away without giving me the usual 'at ease' command. So I stood there in my solute posture ... which was getting tiring considering I was wearing sweats, Nike 's and my hair was in a messy bun.

"Oh! At ease soldier, not many of my soldiers would have waited for a response?"

I am not like other soldiers...

"I was trained by General Albatroaz , sir,"

"The Albatroaz?" he asked.

"The one and only sir."

"You poor girl , I heard she is one of the most tuff Sapphires there is ?"

"The most tuff sir."

He grinned and showed me inside is, where I could smell the most amazing breakfast from where I was standing.The house looks even more amazing inside. I put my bags down in a neat pile out of harms way and walked to the dining table. Pancakes with nutella and oreos and milk? I think I might like it here... How am I going to tell them I am diabetic. I stood behind the chair as my mother taught me and waited for the rest before I took my seat. Abigolian parents were very strict, so manners was easily learnt with a whip.

A women not much older than me came into the dining room with an apron.
"Jake ! Get your but down here right now ! Breakfast is ready!"

"I am coming." a manly voice shouted from upstairs.That must be the Alpha , I could smell his scent when I came into the house.

" Hello lovely, sorry to keep you waiting, it takes me a while before I get the whole family together!" She grins at me before taking her seat.

"No problem , ma'm." I said with a serious tone.

"No ma'm for me! My name is Chavonne and I would like to be called by my name." She said in a mock tone.

I was about to respond when a shirtless guy came into the room and I had to keep my mouth closed before my drool caught any flies. He was by far the hottest guy I have ever seen and I could feel my cheeks warming up. He had brown hair and green eyes. He was muscular and of course had that six pack and v-line all the girls dreamt about. He caught me staring and gave me a smirk before he took his seat across from Chavonne.

Maybe I will really like it here after all.
