[seulgi & jimin]
I stare timidly at the painting hung on the wall in my office. Jimin sat on the couch placed beneath it. And as if our argument never happened last night, we were back to normal the following day. I guess we've become so used to it because that's all we ever did growing up. We'd fight one day and then act like it never happened the next. It's odd to admit this aloud but no matter how bad we fight, I'll never get tired of our friendship.
To be honest, our fights were a lot worse when we were in grade school. We'd actually get physical with one another but now that we're older, things have changed in a way- sort of. We definitely still fight but our words hurt a lot more than smacking one another.
"Awe... our poor little teddy bear..." he pouts at me teasingly, using the same nickname that him and Jungkook made up for me when we were younger. "You look stressed, care to share what's on your mind?" He approaches the front of my desk and he leans on it casually. I roll my eyes at him and turn to look the other way. Giving what he said some thought, I stubbornly turn back to look at him. His eyes beginning to glimmer with excitement and shine as he anticipated my next words.
"If the chairman doesn't want to fire Zoë, we'll have to get rid of her ourselves," a grin worked its way up to my lips and Jimin mimics my exact move. Whenever Jimin and I aren't arguing, we work really well with another. We've done well with making Zoë's life hell since she started as an intern at the company- and we'll do it a million times again if it means getting rid of her for good.
"And how exactly are you planning on doing that?" Jimin tilts his head innocently to the side.
"Jungkook isn't the biggest fan of her either... so we'll definitely get some of his help," I say as excitement shoots through my stomach. If there was anything else I enjoyed doing, it was making Zoë miserable. "And, Jungkook will do what he does best... he's going to ruin her..."

[zoë]I sat anxiously across the chairman's desk, my foot impatiently tapping against the black and white marbled floor. I was back in the same spot, yet again. I had spoken to the chairman less than 24 hours ago and luckily- I wasn't fired. He did warn me that he couldn't play the hero all the time and if the next time I decide to pull something like that again, it would be out of his hands. I'm not that violent of a person and it was the first time that I "acted out," but to be honest, I know that deep down he knew that his son deserved it...
Yesterday after the situation, he had called me back to his office to discuss important matters with Jungkook and I but he refused to show up. Just like a stubborn child, throwing a tantrum. So, we're here again having another meeting.
The door behind me swung open and without having to turn around, I already knew who it was. His soft but aggressive footsteps pattering behind me before they slowly came to a stop right where I was sitting. With my back still turned to him, I stubbornly kept my head straight and my eyes fixated on a random object on the chairman's desk to stop myself from becoming more anxious. It's weird because it was only yesterday where I felt so big and bad, striking him in the face and now... I felt nothing but scared.
He leaned down, low enough to my level and he carefully placed both this hands on the arm rest besides me- caving me in. I took a quick glance at his right arm as it immediately caught my attention. Beautiful designs and unique colors decorated his whole arm, from the very end of his fingers to the very top of his shoulder. I hated myself because I caught myself admiring this part of him.
