CHAPTER 13: I'M IN LOVE

Next day, as usual,  TaaRey went to college early for the practice. Taani still not sure I want to get in front of everyone, and Rey is also thinking how to talk to her about the matter.

T/R- Uh Rey/Taani.

Both look at each other and then chuckle.

Re- Uh... you first.

Ta- N-no... you first.

Re- Uh, n-no—

Ta- Rey... go ahead! I'm listening.

Rey nods and take a deep breath.

Re- Uh, I thought a lot about yesterday. I think you are right. This is about you, Taani. So that decision will also be yours. I won't force you. Whenever you think that you are ready. I am always there, don't hesitate to call.

Rey smile, and she kept looking at him in awe. She can't able to thank her stars for sending such an amazing person in her life... whom she can call her... um, friend.

Re- But just remember one thing, that you are the best. You just need to believe yourself. Nobody knows you better than yourself. Don't give a shit about what people think or see about you. Just have faith in yourself. And one more thing, learn to share your feeling with your closed ones, don't keep everything to yourself only, hmm? Whenever you feel like talking to anybody remember, I'm always here to—l-listen .

Rey stutter while saying the last word, because this is the only thing he can't do. Listening to anyone!

Whereas, Taani relaxed after hearing him. It's always so soothing, listening to him. His words are soothing that it can heal any inner wound, and he almost succeeded in healing postcard switch those people have given her. She smiled at him.

Ta- Thankyou.

She said in a whispery tone as throat is paining because of tears she has controlled not to come out, but she still can't tell him the story of her immense pain. She is looking at him to make him understand what she wants. She wants him to comfort her. So, he pulled her into a hug. She immediately wrap her arms around him, and he pat her head gently. For the first time, being with each other for so many days they always ignore skinship but today she needs it and who is he to deny? It feels so good to be in each others arms. Taani sniff his manly scent which is so—addicting. A mixture of woody and his own body fragrance. Whereas, Rey keep patting her head ever so gently, they didn't let go on until a phone decides to ring. Taani breaks to hug, feeling a little embarrass.

Ta- Uh, m-my phone.

Rey nods and moves a little to left to give her space to get her phone. He take a deep breath to calm his heartbeat which feels like coming out any moment.

Ta- Uh, h-hi... y-yeah, I'm—good... No, why?! O-okay I'll be there. Bye.

Taani hung up her phone and looks at Rey.

Ta- Uh, Mom's call, she asked me to come—home, so...

Re- Go. It must be important.

Ta- Y-yeah. I'll meet you tomorrow, hm?

Rey smile and nods. Taani too gives a little smile before leaving. When she's out from RH, she put her hand on her chest to calm her heartbeats which is beating maniacally. She shake her head run away.

Next day, they met early for practice.

Re- Okay Taani, I've been thinking, why we don't practice but sing, hm, what say?

Taani look at him with unsure eyes, Rey understand her uneasiness.

Re- C'mon, it's just you and me. Sing but still if you feel you're still messing up then we'll stop, okay?
