31. The sulky maknae

"What happened? You were so excited for this shoot yesterday. Are you already tired?"
Seokjin asked as he rested an arm on Jungkook's shoulders to pull him closer.

Jungkook shook his head and lifted his eyes to look at a certain someone, "He's fan-boying over you."

Seokjin turned to see the person and his eyes immediately landed on their txt dongsaeng Soobin. A chuckle escaped his mouth.
"You don't have to be jealous. He admires me like a cool older brother."

Jungkook stuck out a tongue at him, turning back to rest his head on Seokjin's shoulder.

"Jin-ssi, it's time for the mini-interview. Come on."

"Who is he paired with?" Jungkook questioned the staff lady.

"Uh, Jimin-ssi and Soobin-ssi." The last name left a sour taste in his mouth as he turned to glare at Seokjin.

"What's my fault?"

"Yeah, nothing's your fault." He mocked, "Go, your dongsaeng must be waiting for his Jin hyung."
He pushed Seokjin away when he tried to kiss him, who gave up after multiple tries and had to go away when he's called again by the staff.

"Okay, so, Soobin-ssi. Which one of us do you like the most?" Their sunbaenim and interviewer for the day asked the flustered boy.

As the addressed boy was trying to dodge the question, Seokjin caught Jungkook standing right behind the camera man with gaze solely focused on Soobin. He snickered internally and diverted his attention back to the task going in hand.

"Okay, you can just look at the camera and mouth the name." He heard Lee hyun say and Soobin complied.
He couldn't see what he mouthed because he was hiding the side of his face with his hand but one look at Jungkook and he understood judging by the way the maknae was stomping back to where he came from.

'Ah, Soobin you're unintentionally pushing me into a lot of trouble.'
He thought.

The rest of the interview passed with him trying to formulate different ways to cheer up his boyfriend while trying to participate in task as well.

"Where is Jungkook?" He asked as soon as he was free.

Right after the interview, they all were called for a combine photoshoot so, he didn't get the chance to speak to Jungkook.

Now, after what like hundred hours, the staff yelled a 'done' and here is he. Trying to find his boyfriend who's nowhere to be seen.

"I think I saw him in the dressing room." He thanked Namjoon and made his way to the room.

"Baby?" He entered the room to find Jungkook all alone, sitting on the couch munching on a slice of pizza.

Jungkook didn't answer him. He shut the door close behind him and walked forward to plop down next to him.

"I see you're free now."

"Mhm." He reached a hand to pick up a slick as well but was smacked away.

"Then what are you doing here? Go, enjoy with your new dongsaengs. I'm sure they'll be looking for you."
He knew very well what Jungkook was hinting at.

"Kook." He whined, "Baby, he's like my younger brother and you're my boyfriend. The love of my life."

"That doesn't mean he should be crushing over you like some highschool girl."

"He's our dongsaeng. You shouldn't say like that, my love."

Jungkook heaved a sigh, "I know. I like him too. What I don't like is him looking at you like you hung stars in the sky." He pouted and got pulled in a side hug by his boyfriend.

"Well, I did hung stars in the sky. Don't you think?" He teased.

"You did. But in my sky."
He smiled when Seokjin kissed his temple.

"Come on, cheer up. I don't like my baby being sad. Stop being a sulky baby, Can you do that for yeobo?"

He got a nod from him and pressed a kiss to his hair again. "Now, let me have some pizza too."

Jungkook leaned forward to pick up the abandoned slice of which almost more than half of the top layer he's already eaten and brought it in front of Seokjin's mouth.

"Who taught you to eat like that, you little menace?"
He muttered and took a bite when Jungkook scrunched his nose and showed his teeth, mumbling back a 'you' in response.

Some time later

"I want to see it too." He said to the camera and went to look at the apparently 'tall men photoshoot'.

A while ago, they were called again to shoot in groups. This time also Seokjin pairing with Soobin and others because they wanted all the tall men to stand together.

He took a seat to look at the pictures. "So, this is how tall men look, huh?"

He smiled proudly by looking at his boyfriend looking yet again dashing in the photos but that doesn't mean he's okay with him clicking photos with Soobin instead of him.
"I want to be tall too." He muttered.

But he still loves me not him. He remembered. Yeah, it's right. What matters is, Seokjin loves him.
"I'll just born tall in my next life. Don't need to be tall like Soobin."

He grumbled one last time and got up to wait for him to finish. Seokjin better make it up to him by taking him to a romantic date tonight.
He nodded to himself and took out his phone to book a room at some lavish restaurant.
