It would be a lie if I said I wasn't terrified as to why I had to leave Hogwarts immediately, and go to the lake on my own in the dark.
As I left the Great Hall, the aura and air around me felt different to before, almost as if eyes were watching my every move, and there was something unpleasant laid ahead for me. I tried to ignore these feelings though, like Snape insisted, this is what's best for me... Right? I know the wizarding world has changed, but surely that doesn't determine my safety, the castle is full of Guardsmen across every acre of the ground, and I'm not too shabby when it comes to a duel if I need too.I stepped outside, following the sodden mud path to the lake, the air around me colder than usual, especially for the beginning of September, it had more of a December feel too it. I still couldn't shake the feeling that eyes were watching my every move- and not in a positive way. The mud from the ground was splashing up my leg, leaving little mud speckle stains, turning my clean white shoes into a pair that I may as well have owned 3 years. The wind was blowing my auburn hair into my eyes, and if it wasn't for this, maybe I'd of realised that Draco was standing in front of me before I bumped into him.
"Oh Im so sor- Oh... it's you," I snarled realising it was Draco Malfoy that I nearly apologised too.
"I know Snape wants you out of Hogwarts, and well, I am a secret lover of gossip after all," he sarcastically laughed back at me.
"It's none of your business where I am going and why I am going," I replied to him, even tho I wasn't too sure on either of those facts either.
"Oh... I'll think you find it is," he said to me, slowly walking in front of me, almost as if he was guiding me to where I needed to go. Surely he wasn't part of why I need to leave the school? We avoid each other most of the time, unless we need to rip shreds into each other. We arrived at the lake, the water slapping against my feet as I stood there looking for whoever I was suppose to be meeting. Draco stood tall to the side of me, also looking. The moon glimmered against his eyes, which if I said they weren't gorgeous, then that would be a lie. All of sudden his attention turned to me, his eyes looking me up and down,
"Your rides here, dirty mud blood." he said as he turned around to walk off, as I rolled my eyes and huffed at his remark.
There it was before me, an old shabby boat, with a man dressed all in black, the only thing showing was his eyes and the wand in his hand.
"I am not getting in that boat unless you tell me where I am headed!"
The man slowly turned to face me, and I knew immediately that I would regret saying those words, so my hand clutched my wand tightly in my pocket.
"Well... Little lady, that's not an option I'm afraid." His voice sounded familiar, almost as if one that had roamed the halls of Hogwarts before.
"Lucius... Lucius Mal..." just as I attempted to finish my sentence a big bag was placed over my head and I was pulled with a big force onto the boat, hitting my head as I fell...
