Chapter 15

Sayori POV

Kouha was lying in the bed and he's a bit feverish. The maid bring all the things I ordered and some fever medicine.

"Kouha.. Kouha.." I gently pat his face to wake hin up.

"Hmm.." He growled.

"Wake up, you need to take your medicine and change your clothes your so sweaty. I told you don't overwork yourself." I added. He look at me with a delirious face and he smile.

"It's good to have a friend like you Sayori.. I wish we could be the best buddies and not as partners." He said and it made my heart hurt. I smile to him gently. He lay down again and sleep after taking the medicine.

I was holding my tears. I know I told him that I was okay whatever his decision his about us and about me. I grab his hand and I peck a kiss on his hand transferring half of my rukh to him. A few minutes later his breathing is normal again and I felt pain all over me and it cause me to cough blood. I gently wipe it off I don't want to get him dirty. I was caressing his face and place his hand on my cheeks and my tears started to fall down.

"I know, I always know I won't be a part of your future but still hearing you said all those worlds in front of me still hurts. I wish when my contract ends you will found someone to care and love for. All the things I can't do with you do ito with her and make her happy. Wishing for you to get to know me was more than enough I can't asked for more. I love you and will always will my light, my Kouha." I closed my eyes and smile confessing what's in my heart.

I fell asleep after crying and confess what's inside my heart thanking him for all the time he consider my feelings.

Kouha POV

I woke up and I feel energized. Yesterday I felt sick after using my djinn most of the time with my training together with Kouen-niisama and it drain all of my rukh somehow but I don't understand the court doctor said it will take at least 3 days to recover the missing rukh in once body but as for me it just take one day. I sat up and when I turn around Sayori was sleeping in a sitting position and was holding my hands I smile.

"You're the friend I've been waiting for to come into my life. Why we met like this? We're both happy to be friends when we were little why did you choose to throw it all just to get married to me? I know I promise you 3 months but I can't wait that long I collected all my feelings and will give you my answer.. Sayori this passed month I realize something and I'll tell it to you this instant." I added.

I was going to kiss her forehead when the maid knock. She woke up and still very pretty.

"How are you feeling?" She asked.

"Fine. Thank you." I added.

"Your Highness, you've been called in by the lady whose a visitor in the neighboring kingdom." She added.

"Can he go tomorrow? He's still sick." Sayori added and it made me smile thinking she was worried about me.

"It's fine. I'm okay now. I'll get change you wat outside." I ordered the attendant that bratty princess from the neighboring Empire who came here to be my 2nd wife. Like hell no. I don't need another wife Sayori is the only one I need.

"But.." She look at me with worried face instead of convincing her by talking ai kissed her passionately in the lips.

"I'm okay and when I got back I need to tell you my answer." I added. I finally realize what is my true feelings and I hope she will understand me.

She nodded and help me get dress. Little did I know this meeting will be the worst day of my life. Regretting it the most when I didn't treat her right and confess all the things I want to confess.
