IT WAS ANOTHER NORMAL DAY, with the serpent pillar, iguro obanai on a mission─ or rather he was on a mission.
it was like his previous tasks assigned to him. to slay a demon that was either chasing down a specific group of people or just a bunch of randoms in a village (or town).
and well this time? it wasn't much different. just a creep stealing 11 year old girls each night for its own sort of desire. luckily only half of them were dead. the rest were just bruised with trauma they'd never forget.
but there was one thing that was could easily be differentiated by those who looked for this kind of stuff within old and new missions. obanai could now be seen smiling excitedly like a kid, when arriving back to his estate.
why was this? oh right─ the serpent pillar had a girlfriend. her name...it was (y/n).
(y/n) was a beautiful, young girl who occupied two spots. one of being the girlfriend of obanai iguro, and two of being the demon slayer corps' artist.
she was always filled with positivity and hope, and that was one of the key things her boyfriend loved about her. one reason out of the infinite, as to why he loved to come back from a tiring mission to a goddess, smiling right back at him.
but no...today his day did not change to sunshine. it stayed the same as cloudiness.
because today...his everything was no longer to be seen...not in his estate. not here, smiling and greeting him.
