*MEL'S POV*

Me and my best friend, Crawford, are hanging out after school working on last minute homework before finals. We've known each other for most of our lives, well, ever since I moved in next door to him in Calgary when I was 4 and he was 5. Now we both live in Cali.

Right now we are talking and playing a game while we do our homework.

"Truth or dare?" Crawford asks with a smile on his lips.

"Truth." I say, not really feeling like doing a dare right now.

"Do you like Grayson Dolan?" Crawf asks with a smirk.

I blush at the mention of my crush, who also happens to be one of Crawford's best friends as well as one of my close friends as well (though I'm closer to his twin brother Ethan for some reason), and try to hide it with my answer. "No."

"Lie. I can tell by the look on your face right now. You totally like Grayson."

"Nuh uh!" I reply hiding my face in my hands.

"Yes huh!"

"No I don't! Next question. Truth or dare, Crawfie?"

Crawford smiles at the nickname I have for him and thinks for a moment. "I'm feeling daring butttttt I'll pick truth."

"Okay. Why do you care if I like Grayson or not?"

"I don't. I'm just curious, Mellie."

"Sureeeeee." I roll my eyes at him.

"Absolutely. Okay your turn. Truth or dare?"

"Dare I guess."

"I dare you to go ask out Grayson." Crawford smirks yet again.

"What the hell Crawford! No!" I say blushing once again and proceeding to hide my face in my arms that are resting on his dining room table.

"Yeah! C'mon you know you like Grayson and that you wanna date him! Don't fucking deny it." He laughs.

I try to keep a straight face.

"C'mon let's go Mel."

"Where are we going?" I ask Crawford, confused as he pulls me up from the table by my freaking right arm.

"We are going to hangout with Grayson and Ethan. Let's go."
