It's 1973. Two brilliant individuals, Henry Emily and William Afton, are regular people from the small town of New Harmony, Utah. They have the idea to create Fredbear's Family Diner, a place where fantasy and fun come to life. Well, that's true for William, who has a sadistic plan hidden up his sleeve—something no one could have suspected from a man they thought to be kind. Things are about to change, so strap in and prepare for a wild ride.

"Back to you, Tom," says the news reporter. The cameraman puts the camera back in his van.

"H-Hey, U-Um, Vanessa, are you sure we should be dealing with this story? I mean, what proof do we have that William did this? Look at him—he's just a fragile old guy," the cameraman says, sounding hesitant.

"What are you talking about, Joseph? You know how much we're getting paid for this—double last month's paycheck. And look, they arrested him; that must mean it's true, right? So stick with it, and we'll get paid. Got it?" Vanessa replies, somewhat annoyed.

"I-I guess," Joseph says, as he starts packing up and getting ready to leave.

Vanessa and Joseph begin to get in the car when a strange man walks over.

"Hello. I hear you're doing research on Fredbear's Family Diner, correct?" the stranger says with a grin.

"W-Who are you, and how did you know?!" Vanessa asks, frightened.

"Ah, you're right. I should introduce myself. My name is Henry... Henry Afton. I've been researching my brother since his daughter went missing. If you would like to know more, come to this address tomorrow at the same time," he says with a grin, sliding them a paper and disappearing before they can say a word. Visibly shocked, they drive back to the office.
