GWEN P.O.V.
I like the park. I mean, it's fun, but the other kids here are jerks. I hate it that they all go to my school. My favorite part of the park is the swings. In fact, I'm on the swings right now. I've been happy until the mean bully Heather pushed me off the swing while in the air! That jerk! I landed on the rough ground when my knee started to bleed. I couldn't keep it in, so I started crying while Heather and her friends started laughing at me getting hurt.
I had my head in my hands, until I look up at a boy staring at me, then Heather, back at me, and back at Heather.
He seemed to get angrier the more Heather laughed and the more I cried. I think he saw me fall, because he started screaming at Heather.
"WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! YOU CAN'T JUST PUSH ANOTHER PERSON AND WATCH THEM GET HURT JUST TO GET YOUR WAY! YOU ARE SO UNBELIEVABLE...."He walked away from the swings and over to me. "Are you okay?" I was embarrassed, so I just looked down at my knee now with blood all over. "Oh my gosh! I'll be right back, stay here please."
I didn't know where he went, but he came back a couple minutes later with a wipe and a bandaid. He started cleaning my knee and put the band-aid on me. I don't know why, but a smile along with blushing crept onto my face. Once he was done, he looked up at me as we just sat there, looking and smiling at each other.
"Oh, my name is Duncan by the way." Duncan, that was a good name for him. He looked like a Duncan.
"I'm Gwen." I smiled a really big smile. "I've never seen you at the park before, why?" "Oh, it's because I just moved here, my mom and dad's jobs needed them to move here." "Cool! Where are you going to go to school?" "Wilson Elementary, why?" "That's where my mom is making me go!"
He got up, so I tried to stand, but my hurt knee wobbled before I fell. AGAIN. "Oh no! Here, I'll just carry you." He picked me up and carried me to my mom and his mom who were talking.
"Mom! Mom! Gwen hurt her knee! She can't stand up!" My mom started to get worried, so I said, "Don't worry mom, Duncan helped me and fixed my scratch.
Where is your new house Duncan's mom?" She told us the address. "You're our new neighbors?!" I said excited. "Yay!!" Duncan and I shouted at the same time.
"Can Gwen ride in the car with us to help her owwie mommy?" "As long as it's ok with Gwen's mom."
We went to Duncan's house and played for a long time until we both fell asleep in his room. When I woke up, I was back in my room. I started to cry. My mom ran upstairs into my room. "What's wrong Gwen?" "DUNCAN LEFT!" "It's ok Gwen. You fell asleep at his house and I got you in the night." "Wait...... where's Duncan?!" I started looking around everywhere. He's at his house, see?"
My mom opened my curtains and I saw Duncan asleep on his bed. I started smiling at him because he had a pillow on top of his legs.
"Thanks mom." "No problem Gwen! I'll just be downstairs in case you need me." "Ok mom."
I thought Duncan was interesting to watch. He would move around and squirm until he sort-of-woke up. He probably didn't know where I went, so I knocked on my window and waved. He turned and smiled.
I am glad I met Duncan. We started making funny faces toward each other and laughed at not only the faces we made but each other's reactions. We got our moms to let us have note pads to talk on through writing on the pages. For once, I'm actually GLAD Heather did something for a change!
If she hadn't been such a jerk and pushed me, I wouldn't have met Duncan! That would have been terrible! I'm really glad Duncan is my friend. I like Duncan. Not in the kissy-kiss way, though. That's gross! Tomorrow when school starts, I have a feeling that Heather is gonna regret pushing me off the swing set, I just know it.

Gwuncan: Just Starting Out (re-continued)
Любовные романыGwen meets a boy her age named Duncan, and they become best friends. Maybe later on, they become something more. They meet at 5 years old at the park, and it goes on from there. The first couple sentences may be cheesy, but oh well.
