Record X Reader - I'm So Bored

Hello my beautiful people persons!!

We've got another Record oneshot :>
In this oneshot, Record needs someone to talk to... so who better than to talk to her than O/N. [O/N meaning Object Name... meaning you...]

"Ugh... I'm so bored..." Playdoh exclaimed aloud so everybody could hear. "Did none of you hear me? I said I'm soooo terribly bored..." he repeated.
"Yes Playdoh... we heard you." Sighed Rosey "if you're bored, maybe you should try doing something?"  Playdoh thought for a moment... "hmmm... no..." Rosey groaned at his response.

There was a short silence, before the sound of footsteps could be heard. "Hey guys... umm... do any of you know where... O/N is?" Record asked politely. "Oh... hi Record!" Rosey welcomed. "No, actually... i haven't seen O/N in a couple hours."
"I haven't seen them either darling... why do you want to know anyways?" Playdoh added. "I just... wanna talk to them." Record concluded. After a short while, Daddy Long Legs overheard their conversation and decided to step in.

"Wait... are you guys looking for O/N?" He asked
"Well... we're not... but Record is." Rosey answered, staring up at him. "Oh... Record... i think i saw O/N over by the trees... yeah..." Daddy Long Legs uttered.
"Oh... thanks." Record said, now smiling as she began to walk over to the tree.

You were simply chilling, sitting by the tree, talking to yourself. That was until the faint sound of footsteps could be heard. "There you are O/N." A familiar voice called out. "I was wondering where you were." As the voice got closer and closer, it was revealed to be none other than Record. "Oh... hey Record... what's up?" You greeted. "Nothing much... just wanted to see how you were doing... what you were up to."

"Oh... I'm not up to much, just chilling." You told her. "Do you mind if i sit next to you?" Record asked nicely. "Sure, I don't mind." You answered.
She sat herself down, next to you, leaning against the tree. There was an awkward silence between the two of you. "How long... have you been sitting here?" She asked again. "Umm... only about... an hour? Maybe 2?" You answered. "Wow... 2 hours." She realised. "Yeah... sometimes the other contestants can be a bit... too much.." You continued. "Yeah... I... know what you mean..."

There was another awkward silence. "So... umm...
O/N..." Record started, now looking at the orange floor. "Yeah?" You answered. "Are we... friends?" She asked. "Of course we are. We've been friends for a while now." You told her reassuringly. "Yeah... i know... but..." She trailed off. "W-What?" You asked again, simply wanting to know what she'd meant. "W-Well... I... really... like you..." she began to blush. You couldn't believe what you had heard. "You... huh?" It felt so sudden that you couldn't help but be shocked.

"You... like me?" You asked. Record now hiding her face, due to how red she was. "Y-Yeah." She muttered. "W-Wow... Th-Thank you..." You looked over at Record. She was still covering her face. You moved around slightly so that you were sitting next to her. "I like you too Record..." As she heard you say that, she slowly began to remove her hands away from her face, revealing a slight smile from her. Both of you sat underneath that tree for hours and after a short while, you both fell asleep.

5 Minutes Later

"Aww... look at them... isn't that just adorable?" Rosey said, looking towards Record and O/N. "Yeah... not really darling..." Playdoh pointed out. "You don't know anything, Playdoh... also i thought you were bored." Rosey also pointed out. "Being bored doesn't mean you can't join in a conversation." Rosey huffed, still looking at O/N and Record.
"It really is adorable though..."
