June 15th 2053

The day where all harm comes to the center.  This day today is where any harm is brought upon anyone is a victim.

I sat in my room waiting for my love to come home, Thomas.  He was over in California performing in a movie.  I missed him with all my heart.   To the point that there would be days where I couldn't get out of bed allowing the fatigue take over my body.  I just had to keep telling myself...A few more days just wait a few more days...

but that day was today...The Uprising.

The rebellion is a day where all rebels, all citizens of the city would rebel and disobey any rules.  they could rob stores, to pilfer cars...basically anything you couldn't do before the uprising.

Rain collided against the window as I lay my head against it.  The frigidity glass made a cold spot on my head sending a waver down my spine.  all you could hear was air raids.  glass breaking.  but non of that mattered to me all that mattered was him...Thomas.

My distraction got disturbed by my phone buzzing in pocket...It was Thomas.

positivity sprung into my mind...He's almost here.  I couldn't help myself feeling the joy throughout my body.

"Hello, love"

"hey, babe"

"I miss you so much.  How is everything in London...are you okay?" He said with a concerned tone.

"I miss you too babe.  Everything is okay, I just can't wait to see you" An adorable sweet chuckle left his lips leaving me in a giggling mess.

"I'm on my way now I just got in a taxi so I should be 1 hour away now, I love you so much don't forget that".  my cheeks flushed red as he spoke with the sexy voice he has.  "I love you too...and I'm so grateful to have you in my life Tommy".  he awed through the sentence I spoken.  It was true if it wasn't for him my anxiety would be at a whole different level.  My life would be a total mess if it wasn't for him.

That's why everyday of my life I try to make sure to give him all the love I have to give that its for him.  And him only...

I walked up stairs reading Maze Runner The Death Cure (one of my favorite but saddest books of all time) I checked the time...and it was five minutes till he comes home.  Contentment dispersed throughout my body...

Time skip#

It's been over an hour I've attempted multiple times trying to call him but never picked up...

Anxiety ripped through my body...dread took my emotions to another level... Tears brimmed to the edge my eyes till I couldn't hold them back any longer.  Sobs escaped my lips while tears just continuously flowed down my cheeks leaving wet streaks down my face.

Thomas is okay...Thomas is okay nothing has happened to him...

Minutes later all hope was lost...

He's not okay what if he's dead...NO...don't think that...where is he?

thoughts overflowed her mentality... I rested my head against Thomas's pillow...Tommy's pillow...I whiffed his scent on the pillow which just made me miss him more.  I wailed against his pillow till all you could hear were weeps.  As I heard cars smashing against each other, air raids still going off and gunshot echoing in the distance. My eyes proceeded to close slowly...and it was dark.

The morning rays shone beyond the curtains.  "THOMAS!" I shrieked awake from a nightmare.  Thomas was still not here nor were the sounds from all day...they all had stopped.

A knock was at the door...

I ran down hoping it was the person I was looking for.  I opened the door seeing a policeman standing with his notepad and pen in hand.

"Hello, are you miss Y/L" the policeman began sternly. I nodded confused and frightened.  The policeman took off his hat.

"I'm sorry Miss Y/L...he was in a car accident..."
