Saudi Arabia , Riyadh , 2023

Afternoon

Micah Saud, one of the many children from the Saud royal family in Saudi Arabia. As being the eldest of his siblings, he is expected to be next in line for the crown of the king. Is that really what he wants though?

"Prince Micah! Are you ready to start your studies?" One of the butlers opened the door to his bedroom. The butler was young probably mid 30's but still look like he was in his 20's. He was holding a few books in his hand that were written in the Arabic language. He was fluent in Arabic (his main language) but anytime he was instructed to learn anything new such as French, English or German he was tired. It was too much to learn at once.

English was his only strong suit and was more fluent in that than any other language.

"Hm? Yes.. I am. I apologize for keeping you waiting." Micah got off his bed, standing up but soon brushing off any dust or fur off his pants. He followed the butler to the study room. On his way there he passed by all the Saud relics that have been passed down from generations.

Vases, paintings, jewelry, anything that the Saud family has collected or made. Micah would've found it interesting if he was a normal person that wasn't related to this family, but to him it was bland at this point. He's heard the same stories each time his father walked him through this hall or any hall in general that contained any relics.

His father barely acknowledged him, if he did it was to only explain what his duties will be as a king once he passes away. Any other time was talking about family history, arranged marriages, everything. One time he almost snapped at his father mid speech from his father going on and on about what Micah should live up to be.

He was tired of that, but just only a few more years until he becomes king right? Right..?

Unless there was some miracle way his father passed just now, it would take so long for his father to pass away.

He didn't have that kind of patience! He grumbled to himself, shaking his head as to not have the butler leading him to the study room pay any more attention than he already was. Sometimes the maids and butlers were a bit to nosy if he was upset or annoyed. No one has ever heard of privacy apparently.

While continuing the walk to the study room he came across his family photo, in the photo it was only him, his father, and his mother in their royal clothing.

He stopped in his tracks, not to admire, just to.. look. He was feeling a sort of envy. Envy of what? Any other person would want to be in his family if they were given the opportunity.

Which he understands, he had everything anyone would wish to have. Riches, women, a mansion, butlers and maids, everything. Yet it was so easy to get that he didn't like it.

"Is there something wrong Prince Micah?" The butler turned around, he was a bit more ahead of Micah.

"Huh? No, I'm fine." He nodded, catching up to the butler.

"If there's anything wrong you can speak to me!" The butler gave a smile to Micah, he slightly gave the smile back but turned his attention back forward.

"I'm fine, but thank you." There wasn't anything wrong either way, he was reminiscing the past. Even if he didn't enjoy it fully.

He'll leave soon. He wants to change his life. Going by a different name is too much of a change. Changing where he lived though.. that would be easy. Take one of his parents credit card, change some stuff on it, then use it for himself. All together with his whole family there was a whopping over $10 billion to his family name. If he just takes one of the cards then it's goodbye family and hello new life.

Right now he had to think about what he'll do currently. He'll continue what he's doing now until it reaches midnight then he'll leave.

Somehow he will at least.

"Enjoy your studies sir!" The butler opened the door to the study room, inside was shelves full of books, scrolls, just anything that could be seen in a study room. Near the chalkboard was the teacher, she was in her 50's and was one of the one's recommended by high top universities in Saudi Arabia. She was also very strict which a made Micah not like her a lot.

He hopes this day can go by fast, he doesn't want to be here any longer than he has to be.
