New York , New York City , 2023

Morning

Micah surely woke up a few minutes prior to landing, when he opened his eyes he could see a clear view of New York City from the airport. He waited for everyone to get their luggage before he was the last one to leave considering he didn't like the pushing and shoving of people wanting to get off.

He grabbed his carryon then began walking through LaGuardia Airport. His eyes widened, it was amazing. There were fast food places, stores, and more gates. He could finally live as a normal person, he was excited.

After a few seconds of collecting his thoughts he was interrupted by his stomach rumbling. He placed his hand on his stomach, looking around at the options he decided on Wendy's. He approached the fast food place looking up at the menu.

"Hmm.. what should I get?" He needed to get to the baggage claim so he just decided on some chicken nuggets and a coke. It was something simple and easy to eat. "Baggage claim 4.. alright let me find where that is." He looked around, that was until he found the sign for baggage claim.

After he got his bags he called an Uber again. Yet.. he didn't have a hotel booked yet. He clicked his tongue in annoyance. He looked at hotels nearby, he groaned because he had to much to plan for. This wasn't going to be as easy as he thought..

"What am I supposed to do?" He groaned, sitting on a bench, looking up at the ceiling of the airport. "I need to find a college first." He browsed the internet until he found Colombia EDU. "Holy shit you're kidding  me! How does Colombia EDU have a 4% acceptance rate?!" He groaned, soon he found New York University. "I'll have to find some excuse on how I got accepted. If anything, money always wins." He smirked, chuckling.

"For now I'll stay at.. hmm, The Standard East Village. It has some good ratings, I'll just set it for the 5th of October considering today is the 2nd." He paid for the room with a clear view of the city skyline. Then he called for the Uber.

While he continued to eat his mind was running on everything. Was this the right choice? Is this really what he wanted? He wanted this but he knew he had to rely on himself, not rely on his parents. He couldn't go back to them. Did they even know he was gone? Whatever, they're probably not gonna care, they'll just hand the heir over to his younger brother.

He was snapped out of his thoughts when his Uber arrived, he stood up and grabbed his bags. The Uber driver placed them in the trunk as Micah got in. He gave the directions to the driver and then got back to his phone. That was until the Uber driver started making conversation.

"So where you from that made you come on this trip?" "Oh I just came from Uhh.. Pennsylvania." Micah looked out the window, he had to lie about where he was from, he didn't want to bring an suspicion to him. Not even suspicion just attention in general, if he said he was a prince from Saudi Arabia there were one of many situations. Either they wouldn't believe him, they knew him and would freak out, or they wouldn't care. Either way he wasn't saying nothing.

"Oh nice! I have some family there, sometimes I'm glad I don't go there anymore. Wanted to be out in the city." "Mhm, I see. You live here then?"

"Yeah, been living here for a good 6 years now. Haven't gotten tired of this place." Micah realized he could take an opportunity with this to get some recommendations on places to go. "Do you have any places you recommend?"

"A ton of places, there's this guy that holds the best parties. It's more of a college thing but at the  bar I go to I hear good things about it, like how the host is a guitar player. Many things." The Uber driver laughed. "Really? I may just have to attend one then if that's the case." Micah nodded before looking out the window, watching the city come into a better view.

"Alright here you are! Enjoy your trip!" The Uber driver waved off before leaving. Micah held his bag in his hands as he waved bye, he turned his attention to the hotel. He went inside to check in. "Room for Micah Saud?" "That's me." He nodded, looking around. The hotel itself was nice he wouldn't deny that. Definitely lived up to the four star review it had.

The assistant chuckled before tucking a bit of hair behind her ear. "I don't mean to ask but are you, the, Micah Saud?" Micah expected this, he put on a nice smile and nodded. "Ahaha yes that's me." "It's so nice to finally meet you! You're really attractive in person." She chuckled, a faint blush on her cheeks.

"Thank you, I appreciate the compliment, dear." He gave her a small smile before taking his key and going up to his hotel room. Once he got in he groaned, already annoyed with the conversation he just had. While he didn't mind the compliment he expected this to happen a lot now.

He unpacked some of his clothes. He then changed into something that was more nice, he didn't exactly have casual clothes, only the fancy ones. He wanted to slam his head against the floor because of that. "Whatever.. I'll just wear this."

He grabbed a white shirt along with a dark red corset. He put on a small black tie around the collar of the shirt. Then lastly he put on some black pants. He was ready to go but there was still something holding him back.

"Let's have fun. I've gotta make the most out of my time here." He smiled before putting his jacket over his shoulder.
