What happens when the thing we want the most isn't really what we want at all. I always heard that nothing in life comes free. That's definitely true about my new gifts I received after the accident.
Man the accident, it happened on just a usual day. I got up and got ready to go to school. I had good grades, captain of the football team, and a sweet set of wheels. Little did I know that would all change on that day that my whole life was taken away by one little moment. I was on the way to school when I saw a man trapped in a burning car. I stopped and quickly got out of my car and approached the unusual scene. I pulled the door open and saw the the guy was knocked out cold. "This will be fun", I told myself- only half believing it. I know they say that adrenaline can do strange things, but this was not something that should have happened. As I tried to figure out what to do to solve this issue of getting the guy from the car to safety I realized that the fire was getting really close to the gas tank. I knew what happens if those two meet up, and it is not good. After realizing the severity of the situation I began to move faster seeing as how my lack of speed could lead to catastrophic consequences, both for me and this innocent man. I felt the adrenaline course through my veins and give me an extra burst of strength as well as my an extra boost to my senses. I pulled at the buckled seatbelt to no avail. It was being held in place by a piece of metal that made a shish kabob out of the seat belt. Then I smelled the gas it was very close to the fire. Panicking, I grabbed the man to try and protect him from the blast. Suddenly we were across the road and watched as the car we were just at burst into a fiery inferno.

I looked around and noticed that we were not the only ones there as I previously thought. There was a group of people staring at me and then back at where we last stood anticipating our death. Their looks changed from one of wonder and gladness to pure terror. They all started shouting at me calling me a devil. I guess people are just afraid of what they do not understand and how could they understand something that I did not even understand.

The people started to chase me. I ran and ran with eyes full of tears. I was scared to death. I did not know what was happening.

A few days later...
What a great day today was! I was finally able to get out of the house and test these new powers I have developed. I even found out I have a new one. I discovered I have the ability to make an unbreakable bubble. Unfortunately I did not get to test that one as much as I would have hoped. I wanted to see if the bubble had the ability to put out fires. If it does that would show me that it does not let in air - which would be helpful, but if it does not that would be okay too. If it does not I will know that the bubble lets air flow in and out therefore I can enclose myself in it for protection. Oh, I almost forgot about the Bubble Knuckles. Yeah, I came up with that name myself. I am able to use my bubble to form a shell around my fist and do some massive damage. I punched a rock, and it broke in half. My bubble did not break, and I did not feel any pain. So anyway, the powers I know I have include the following: enhanced senses, teleportation, and this bubble power. To think all this happened because of the accident.
