The Summer With Y/n

Chapter One

Y/N POV 

The last thing Y/n expected to be doing during her first day of summer vacation was showing some other highschoolers from Japan around California, but then again... Who does? Here's what happened.

You were walking past the four seasons, when you came across the group looking confused, excited, overwhelmed, and excited. You went and asked them if they needed any help, and went to ask them if they needed any help. Turn's out they were a volleyball team from Japan and were training in America for the summer, and they had today off to go explore, but didn't know where to start or what to do. So like any kid with nothing else better to do, you took them to the spot where you had a feeling everyone would like. You were also already heading there but they didn't need to know that... They went to Universal City Walk and Universal Studios so they could go on the rides and do a little shopping. You ended up hanging with them for the whole time, you enjoyed their company! Especially the Sugawara, or was it Kōshi? It's a little confusing... 

The whole group was like one big family... You envied that. I mean, yeah the kids at school, and the kids at your art club are nice and all... But none of them really just clicked. Man how you wishes that you could have friends like these kids! Maybe if you asked they would want to be your-

"Hey y/n! We wanted to know if you wanted to go to the Minions 3D ride with us??" Hinata said as the whole group follows closely behind. You look up a little surprised.

"Uhm sure..." you say with a soft smile. They were including you... That feels, nice... A grin breaks across your face and you lead the group  up to the ride. You all get into line and that's when they choose their time to bombard you with questions.

"So where are you from Y/n" - Ennoshita

"What do you like to do for fun? I mean other than coming to the theme parks." -Suga

"Do you like Volleyball???" -Hinata

"Is your name really Y/n? I mean really?" -Saltyshima

"Tsuki! That's not nice-"

"Shut up, Yamaguchi."

"Gomen Tsuki!"

You raise an eyebrow at the little encounter between the two. It's obvious that something is between them...  Eh, not your problem. Though it will definitely be fun to poke at! You realize that they are waiting for you to answer.

"Oh! Well, I live about 10 minutes away from the Four Seasons. That where you guys are staying. I like to skateboard, draw, read, play videogame... Oh and climb things!" You leave out the Anime for fear of be made fun of. "Volleyballs cool and all... I've never really seen a game so I can't say whether I like it or not.. And yes my name IS really Y/n Tsukishima." Tsuki Scoffs and looks the other way. Hinata looks quite flabbergasted.

"YOU'VE NEVER SEEN VOLLEYBALL?!" He exclaims starting you a little bit.

"Hinata, lets calm down a little bit maybe?" Suga says after seeing you jump at the sudden outburst.

"No it's fine! I've wanted to try it. Though everybody always seemed just a bit to busy to come and teach me how..." You say with a half hearted smile on your face. Hinata face morphs into a form of sympathy and understanding, but before he can say anything it's your guy's turn to go on the ride. You all grab your glasses and go onto the ride. 

After the ride you all go to get some food. You see Hinata drag Daichi over somewhere and Daichi ends up calling someone. You turn back to the group and continue eating. It's around 3:30 and you can see jet lag starting to catch up with them. So you all decide to head back to the hotel. You drop them off and turn to lave when Hinata calls you back.

"Y/n! wait up!" He calls after you running up behind you. you stop and turn around.

"Yeah?"

"Well you had said earlier that you had a bit of an interest in volleyball and I asked our coach and sensi, and they said that you could come watch if you wanted to! The whole team already agreed to it, so it's up to you!" A big smile breaks across your face. So THIS is what it feels like to have friends...

"Of course! That would be awesome!"

"Swett! Here's my number, and ill text you the spot where we will be! See you tomorrow, oh and bring tennis shoes!  Ukai doesn't like people just sitting around!" He says as he runs back to the group. You smile and start heading home. This summer might just be the best one yet!

Hello! So the first chapter is done! My internet sucks so there might be a few errors that I missed, but I'll keep proof reading it! This chapter there was around 850 words, the chapter should be getting longer soon. I'll update later this week, so see you all then! Now time to start proof reeding....
