"Let. Me. Go." You said coldly to the archon infront of you
"Y/n, we've been over this, you aren't going anywhere outside of your room." She replied shaking her head
"This isn't my room! This isn't even my house!" You screamed
"Yes. It. Is." She said in a low tone
"You're going to have to accept that eventually." She added as she began walking to the door
"I hate you kusanali.."
"It's mother Nahida to you."

How long had it been since she took you in and never let you leave? You had no clue. It most likely has been centuries, you only remember this cause she got locked up for centuries and during that time you ran out of food.. When she was rescued she introduced you to the wanderer, who apparently was her nephew, sorta. You liked wanderer he was a reasonable person and he was about your age so you two got along pretty well, you sadly didn't see each other often though.

"Wanderer! I'm gonna be busy all day so if you could please check up on Y/n for me I would really appreciate it!" Nahida yelled threw the palace as she began running to the door
"Oh! And can you try to convince them to stay, they seen to like you alot more then they like me.." she added stopping at the door
"Sure! See you later!" Wanderer replied
"I need to pick up some food from the market today.." he thought to himself
"Whatever"

"Hey look! It's wanderer!" An annoying voice yelled from afar
*sigh*
"could their timing be any worse" he thought to himself as he turned around to see the traveler and his floating companion
"Whatever you need can you make it quick." He said coldly
"Geez, why so mean." Paimon replied pouting
"You're lucky I didn't walk away yet. Now what do you want?" He rolled his eyes
"Hey-!"
"We were wondering if you knew where Nahida was?" The traveler asked as they covered paimons mouth "no clue" he shrugged
"She said that she'd be gone all day today, so better luck tomorrow."
"Well that's no help.."

*knock ×3*
"Go away Kusanali!" You yelled
"It's not nahida!" The voice replied
*le gasp*
"Wanderer!" You ran to the door as he opened it
"Hi" he greeted
"Come in, we have lots to talk about!" You grabbed his arm and dragged him to a chair
"Do you want tea or coffee?" You asked
"Uhhhh- coffee" he replied uneasy.
A couple minutes later you brought in two cups and handed him one
"How has the outside world been?" You asked
"Pretty much the same as the last time we talked" he replied
"Y'know, it isn't as fun as you think it is out there" he added
"Plus this library is fucking huge!" He yelled

"Hmm, well, it is a library of Divine knowledge after all.." you hummed
"And I understand that some people pray to be in my position, but I've been stuck in here for CENTURIES!" You exclaimed
"Hundreds of years ago, she took away my freedom, my family, my friends.." you slightly trembled as you spoke
"Listen, I can't convince Nahida to free you completely, but when you get a vision I'll probably be able to convince her to let you out and train with me." He stated
"Wanderer, we've been over this, I'm not gonna get a vision I have literally no ambition in life." You replied taking a sip of your drink
"N/n, you have mommy issues, you're gonna get a vision." He said rolling his eyes

2. I'm getting sick of your stereotypes." You narrowed your eyes at him
"Be as sick as you want, you're gonna get a vision!" He screamed
"Plus, you have the motivation to get up an do things in your life, and where there's motivation there's ambition." He states
"You probably have a book about visions in this huge fucking library." He looks around
"Oh I do! Let me go get it!" You jumped of of your chair and began running to a section of the library
