CHAPTER: 4

The one in front stared at me, walked closer, and pointed the laser at me. I was shocked when King pulled me away, and we started running, and it started following us while shooting us with a laser that could burn even steel.

As the IT awakened, the capsule opened, and the scream started because the IT inside stood up and started to laser the defenseless and hopeless people to their death. The IT was not only one, but thousands were shooting humans with their lasers. The laser can burn the human body's inside, bringing death instantly. It is just one laser, and the human body will die. They are shooting with no mercy. Adults or children, everybody will face death at their hands.

"Why did you touch it?" King asked me while we were running away from IT. His question partly blamed me because the IT woke up when I touched the capsule, but it was not like that. They will wake up once their capsule-like touch the earth because they are on the mission of killing humanity.

"I didn't know that I could wake it up."

"Now, we are dead!'

And then the laser hit the ground that threw us into the pit, making the ground shake slightly. I heard the footsteps approaching us when Robo barked and jumped into an IT that gave us a chance to run again. Thanks to Robo for saving us, and I immediately hugged him when IT got dizzy when Robo jumped and bit the face.

I saw many IT shooting people, which cannot be. I need to fight to save my life. I needed to get one of the IT's weapons to use as my protection, even though I didn't know how I would do it because the IT was bigger and stronger than I was. I saw how they threw people like a scratch of paper for them and broke human bodies into two when the humans tried to fight them. It is unbelievable, but it is happening right before me, unlike the first and second horns.

The third horn is worse than the two because an unidentifiable species kill every human being on earth with a laser that can spare no human.

I saw troops and police officers gather to fight those IT and protect humanity. Still, they were crushed in one blow no matter how they fought with their high-calibre weapons, and I couldn't believe it because it looked like the soldiers and the police officers could not protect and save us, and we were on our own.

"Looked out!" King said and saved me from the IT that kept on shooting us, and it would never stop until we died.

IT never stopped following us, and I am thinking about how to eliminate that killing machine. I needed to know the weakness of the giant monster aside from its face because even though it looked serene, it had already killed many people with one shot of its lasers. I woke it up with just one touch, and now I am thinking about how to knock it down in just one blow. I looked around while running for our lives because it kept shooting us.

"King, back me up because I need to get the laser," I told King, who was running while carrying Robo.

"How?"

I didn't answer, but we separated ways as my guts told me to do. The IT got confused about which way to go first because it kept looking left and right while I thought of an effective way to kill that IT and get the weapon because I knew I could use their laser gun against them. King looked at me with a question in his eyes about the next best thing to do. I grabbed a steel bar and did sign language to let King know about my plan while I was hoping that my plan would be effective. King agreed even without an assurance that my plan would work. I count from one to three, and when my count reaches three. King runs first together with Robo to get the IT attention. I heard laser gun because IT is shooting King and Robo, so I didn't waste time. I run after the IT and use the steel bar I am holding to smash it on the IT's head.

I used my full force to get it knocked down, and I am glad because my plan works. Now, IT is lying unconscious in front of us. I removed the IT mask and was surprised to see the face. The IT is a male, and he looks like a human, but the difference is he doesn't have a nose line and has three broken chins. I looked at the mask, and there were writings that I couldn't read. I think it was one paragraph. The alphabets were different, but the thing that was written on the mask that I understand is the name. 'Draco', then there are numbers after the word 'Draco', and the one I hit with the steel bar can be

Draco 10986.

"So he is Draco 10986," I told King.

"How did you know?"

"They have their names on their mask."

King picked up the mask and took a look at it closer. "The alphabet is different from ours, but we can still read it, " he said, putting the mask down beside Draco 10986.

I immediately pick up the laser gun and never waste my time. I wear the strap because the laser gun is heavy, and I can't just hold it.

"Come on, let's get another laser," King said, and we left Draco 10986 still unconscious on the ground.

We run without a plan for where to go because what is important is I already have a laser gun that I can use to save ourselves, but I need to get another laser gun for King. We planned to enter the building and heard a man begging for his life at the alley where the kid robbed me. I saw how he shot the laser at the poor man's head that killed him instantly. There is no blood because the blood will be burned, as well as the flesh. That is how dangerous and high technology their weapon is.

Draco noticed us watching him when he started pointing his laser gun at us, but before he fired. I pull the trigger and shoot Draco first, but the laser is nothing to him. That is why when Draco tried to shoot us. We ran, and he started following us while shooting us. Everything his laser touched burned, and we would be dead if we kept running. Since I already have a laser, I need to use it to save our lives. I climb the emergency stairs attached to the wall and lean on the wall facing the streets because I want to aim for Draco's head, while King keeps running because he thinks I am still running with him.

"Hey! Draco!" I called the giant killer to get his attention. He looked at me, but my laser gun was already pointing at him. I fire him on his head that kill him in an instant.

"Justice served," I said, descending the stairs and immediately picking up the laser gun on the ground.

"You didn't tell me that you would go suicide", King said while running towards me with Robo when he noticed I was no longer behind him.

"I have a gift for you" I showed him another laser gun that made him smile.

"I never regretted adopting you, " he said, taking the gun I was giving him. He wore the strap the way I wore it, looked at it, and said, "This is a high-quality weapon."

"You will be my best friend from now, " he added, talking to the laser gun. Robo frown while looking at King. King laughed and kneeled to scratch Robo's head and said, "You are my number boy, my son" That made Robo smile again.

"Come on, let's keep moving," I told King because it was too dangerous to stay in one place. The Dracos were everywhere, and they will not hesitate to kill us when they saw us as they did to others.

The Draco has numbers. It is like their identification to know their profile. If I could use a laptop now, I would search for information about them. Though, I wondered if I could find some information online because I had never encountered the word 'Draco' with a laser gun and killing humans before because in my school when I was at the university studying astrology. The Draco I know is the Latin name for 'Dragon', one of the constellations.

"This way," King said, and I followed him to the abandoned building that people thought was a bomb long ago.

We stayed inside while thinking about killing the Draco as fast as possible because we didn't know if the laser guns we stole would last long. We heard people screaming outside and asking for help. Most were crying and begging, but the cold-blooded Dracos had never heard their cries. We can hear laser guns left and right killing people, which makes our hearts break.

"What are we going to do now?" I asked myself inside my head because I couldn't concentrate on having a solid plan to kill Dracos. This would be tough for us, but I know we will fight. I held my laser gun like my new best friend and said, "Let's show them what we got." I smiled devilishly.
