At around 4am, Jeff woke up to his door being open, Onyx not in the bed next to him. He began to panic, flicking the light on to see she wasn't on the floor either or anywhere in the room. "Onyx?!" he called for her. When not getting an answer, he rushed downstairs and paused as he got a glimpse of two figures in the kitchen near the back door. He hid behind the wall and listened closely as he tried to peek at who they were. "Here is what is going to happen. You aren't going to give me any fuss as I take you from here. You make any noise or even try to run, I'll go ahead and shoot you right here instead of at the lab. Got it?" a man whispered. Jeff finally looked around the corner to see the man dressed in all black with his face covered, holding Onyx with a gun at her head, tears rolling down her face. Jeff watched as the man shoved her into a wall, his rage now too much. "So you enjoy making others suffer, eh? How about we play a little game then?" Jeff chuckled as he pulled his knife on the man. "Stay back! I am not afraid to shoot you!" the man yelled. Jeff just laughed. The man then picked up Onyx by her hair, putting the gun to her chest. "Okay tough guy! Since you obviously don't care about your own life, lets see how much you care about this little whore's!"
Jeff froze, trying to figure out how to save her. Onyx closed her eyes and lifted up her hand, ignoring the mans threats. "Now you see me, now you don't!" she yelled before teleporting beside Jeff. "That's it!" he yelled. He raised his gun and pulled the trigger with the aim at Onyx, the bullet going straight through her chest, her falling to the ground. "Onyx!" Jeff bent down next to her, picking her up and putting his hand against the wound. Onyx stared up at him and smiled weakly. The others heard the gunfire and ran downstairs quickly to the scene. The man ran out the back door, trying to escape. Jeff's glare faced the woods where he had vanished. "Slendy, take care of her. I'm going after that son of a bitch!" With that, he took off out the back door as well. Slendy picked up Onyx, grabbing a rag from the counter and putting pressure on Onyx's chest wound and carrying her up to his room. "You all can go back to sleep. I must tend to her alone." he stated before closing the door. Everyone looked at each other in shock and wondering what the hell happened. They all just returned to their rooms and went back to sleep. Liu, still asleep on the couch, began to wake up about twenty minutes later to Jeff walking in with blood dripping from his hands and knife, his hoodie soaked. "Holy shit! What the hell man?" Liu stood up, startled and walking over to Jeff. "They tried to kill Onyx. They shot her.." he explained. Liu moved out of Jeff's way as he ran upstairs and straight down the dark hall to Slendy's room.
Bursting through the door, he seen Onyx laying on an extra bed, Slendy beside her. "She is fine. I'm sure that I removed all the bullet from the wound. I stitched her up and bandaged it." Jeff sat down, sighing and resting his head in his palms. Slendy just looked at him and shook his head. "I haven't seen you so stressed nor pissed like this since Jane." he stated. Onyx opened her eyes, feeling the wound with her hand and looking around to see Jeff all bloodied up. "W-what did you do to the man?" she asked. Jeff walked over to the bed and sat down next to her. "I gave him what he deserved. Lets leave it at that." he smiled wider.
Onyx smirked and began to sit up and yawn. "Come on. Lets get you back to sleep." Jeff insisted as he took her hand and walked her back to his room.
In the next few hours, she woke up to see smile dog laying on her legs and wagging his tail. "Well goodmorning to you too." she spoke as she rubbed her fingers through his thick red fur. Jeff moved his mask, looking over at her. "Morning." He sat up and patted smiley on his side. he moved the blankets back to reveal a huge gash on his ribs. "Oh my God! Are you okay?" Onyx exclaimed as she examined the wound. "Haha. I'm fine. Stuff like this doesn't bother me." he assured, getting up and stretching. Onyx just stared at his shirtless body. He turned to catch her in the gaze she was caught up in. He just smirked and snapped his fingers. "Hey! Snap out of it!" Her eyes looked up into his as she began to blush a deep shade of pink. "Oh I-I'm sorry! I didn't-" she paused as he started laughing. "Its alright. My friend used to do the same thing. I'm used to it." he said as he grabbed a black shirt from his closet. Sliding it on, Onyx couldn't help but stare. He was hot as hell in a tight black Tee! "You know, I might have a few things that you can have. They were also my friends things. They are locked up in her old room. Just a bunch of Clothes and shoes. Stuff like that." he offered as he left the room. Onyx followed behind him to the room at the far end of the hall. "Why is this room so distant from the others?" She asked as Jeff just shrugged and unlocked the room, leading her inside. They both walked over to the closet. Onyx looked around at the ebony colored walls and bedding, not to mention the dresser and other furniture. She just looked back at Jeff who was holding up a black turtle-neck dress, obviously lost in thought. "You okay?" she asked in concern. She placed her hand on his shoulder. He just turned his back towards her as a tear of blood like substence ran down his face. "I'm fine." he said strictly. Onyx stroke his back, trying to calm him. "If you don't wanna be in here, we can leave. I mean I can buy more clo-"
She was interrupted by Jeff, who turned and hugged her tightly, almost crushing her. His grip picked her up off the ground slightly. She couldn't do anything but just hug him back. "Its alright. It will be okay. I'm sure whatever it is that is getting to you, you can get through it. I'll help you." she insisted as she placed her hand upon his face, wiping the tears from his eyes. He just looked into hers. "God, you remind me so much of her.." he whispered, caressing her face and smiling bigger. She blushed and tried to look away. "Uhhh..." He then blushed with her and set her down, putting his hands behind his back. "I'm sorry. You just remind me of her and its just so.. strange. You know, if you want, you can stay in this room. All the clothes are already in here and you can help yourself to anything else.." Onyx looked around once more and nodded. Jeff then stared into her eyes once more before shaking his head and walking out. She just tried to forget what just happened and began digging through the clothes.
Downstairs, Liu and Rebecca sat on the couch, eating and playing video games. "Well this is a shocker." Jeff said as he walked into the kitchen. Liu and Rebecca just rolled their eyes as they faught to their death on mortal kombat. Jeff, grabbing a fresh bottle of Jack Daniels from the cabinet, walked out to the laundry room and grabbed his hoodie. The blood stains remained but a lot less than what they were before. He quickly slid the black shirt off and rushed the hoodie on. "Much better." he mumbled. Chugging the whiskey, he flinched at the burning sensation coming from his eternal scars. He walked back upstairs to his room, putting away the shirt and patting his scars with a cloth from his night stand drawer. It wasn't long before everyone was downstairs, watching Liu and Rebecca going at it on mortal kombat, cheering one another on. Even Ben cheered for Rebecca. Onyx soon came downstairs, her hair curled and her makeup done wearing a black skin tight dress with some heeled boots. "I look okay?" she asked in a shy tone. Everyone turned to face her. Jeff was speechless. Liu's jaw dropped along with Ben's. Rebecca smiled and gave her a thumbs up. Sally ran inside from picking flowers from the rose bush Slendy had planted by the house. "Here daddy I picked you so-" she began to speak before seeing Onyx. She then changed her mind and ran to Onyx. "Here you go Miss Onyx. They match your prettiness." she tried to explain. Onyx giggled at her wording and kneeled down in front of her. "You know what would make these roses even prettier?" Sally just shrugged at her. Onyx lifted her hand above the flowers and sprinkled what looked like sparkles over them. Sally stared in amazement as the red roses turned black. "Here. Why don't you go put them in a pretty vase for me?" Onyx insisted as she stood up and turned to see Jeff walking over to her. Her face turned a red color as he came closer. She could feel her heart pound against her chest.
