Andrew was sitting at his desk writing out reports , mostly for traffic violations that he'd reviewed from the cameras. However he had to play some footage back because his mind wandered to Claudine. It had been a week since he had questioned her and something strange had started happening to him ever since. He woke up happier, for no reason. He would do things he had never done before like give random compliments, He actually was turning kind. After years of being crabby .
" Jarvis are you humming?" Sheriff Nichols said in his stocky voice.
Andrew looked up and smiled at his boss. " Yes sir." Then asked " are you going outside Mr. Nichols ? "
Sheriff Nichols grunted and shook his head yes. Straightening his hat on his head he didn't notice Andrew move in front of him until he saw the door open . There Andrew was still smiling and holding the door open for him. Something he hadn't done all seven years he'd worked for him .
Sheriff Nichols didn't say anything out loud but he did make a memory note to request a mental evaluation for Jarvis. He was acting out of norms. It was almost like he was possessed by some invisible cupid character, only he was in love with everybody. Nichols had to nip that in the bud. He gave one last look at Andrew before he got in his police car, Andrew was waving at him. Before Sheriff Nichols could stop himself he started waving back at him. Turning the ignition his shook his head over the image of how dumb he looked just then and made his way to the court house.
