As Wrestlemania 39 comes and goes, Roman Reigns looks to defeat Cody Rhodes and retain his Undisputed title. Along the way, he meets me and I try to help him retain.
I looked up at Sami, panting as he licked me. Me: Oh Sami, you're making me wetter. I love you. Sami: I love you too. I wanna get some sleep. Me: Okay. I said as we went to bed. The next morning, we were getting ready to go back on the road. It was 2024 and Roman finally lost his titles. Sami was looking to challenge the Usos now with Kevin Owens.
Author's Note: They actually won in real life this year so bear with me.
The match was brutal. The Usos were destroying them. After 20 minutes, Sami and Kevin were standing on the ramp with the belts. They looked happy. I saw Sami and I hugged him. Me: You won. I'm proud of you guys. Sami: I can't wait for the rematch. The Usos don't stand a chance against us. Kevin: They can't beat us. They'll have to leave the bloodline soon.(Yes I'm foreshadowing what's gonna happen to the Usos before Backlash 2023.)
We decided to celebrate at the bar. Later, everyone went home and Sami was getting ready for bed. Me: Sami, you can't sleep with the belts you know. I laughed. Sami: I know. I'm gonna put them away. Sami put the belts away and lay down. Me: I'm still happy for you. Sami: Thank you. I couldn't do it without Kevin though. He's my friend. Me: Yes he is. He was happy with the win tonight. Sami: Yeah, he's ready to face those Usos again at Backlash. Me: They aren't being Ucey enough. I chuckled. Sami: I used to tellhiem that you know. Sami said as he looked at a picture. It was from Survivor Series War games.

Me: I remember that. You guys were happy that night. Sami: Yeah. We were. Now times have changed. I'm not like that anymore. He said as he put the picture down on the nightstand. Me: I know. Now let's get some sleep. Goodnight Sami. I said as I fell asleep. Sami didn't go to sleep yet. He laid in bed, reflecting on his time with the bloodline. Me: Sami, come go to sleep with me. Sami: Okay. Sami slowly went to sleep. The next morning, Sami saw Roman on the news. He was talking about WWE Backlash and how the Usos were going to destroy Sami and Kevin like how they tried to do at Wrestlemania and at Payback. I was still asleep but Sami woke me up. Me: Sami, it's 7 in the morning. You woke me up. Why did you do that? I cried. Sami: I'm sorry. I just feel mad at Roman. I need to beat Jey once and for all. It's okay. I'm sorry I made you cry. Sami wiped my tears and held me. I didn't want him to get injured. Me: I don't want you to go. Don't leave me alone. Sami: I'm not going to. We're going to a nice hotel for Backlash weekend. It's in Puerto Rico too. You love luxury. Me: A hotel? Sami: Yes, a fancy one too. Plus, we'll get to go to the beach. It'll be fun. Me: Yay. I smiled a little bit but I was on pins and needles about the match on Saturday.
Saturday night
It was the night of Backlash and everyone was getting ready for their matches. I was out in the crowd, waiting for the event to start. Eventually, Bad Bunny came out and introduced the first match. It was the tag team championship match. I got butterflies in my stomach immediately as Kevin Owens' music hit. Then Sami came out. They marched to the ring while high fiving fans. Sami came over to me and hugged me. He whispered something in my ear. It sounded like he was calming me down and that he'll see me again later on after the match. At that moment my nerves went away and I smiled at him. The match was better than I expected it to be as Sami and Kevin retained. I jumped up from the barricade and went over to Sami. He hugged me and the crowd cheered.
After our long day, Sami and I were eating dinner outside our hotel room on the balcony. It was overlooking the beach. Sami: I'm so tired now, but I'm glad I'm a tag team champion again. Me: Sami, I love you. Sami: I love you too. Let's go inside and finish eating dinner. Me: Okay. We went inside our room and closed the balcony door.
After dinner we got ready for bed. Sami: I love your pjs, they're adorable. Me: Thanks. I like iced coffee so why not have mini coffee cups with faces as a pj set. Sami: Come here. I crawled into Sami's arms as we slept.
