April 7th, 2024. It was almost the end of WrestleMania 40, and Cody was getting ready for his match with Roman. Cody: I can't wait to defeat Roman tonight. I'll finish my story with him if I do. Sami: We believe in you Cody. You can do this. Cody: You're right Sami. I'm going to win. Cody said as he stood up and put his jacket on. We walked to gorilla position as Cody made his entrance. Roman came out after him, and their match started. In the last 5 minutes, John Cena got a Rock Bottom, Rock tried to hit Cody with a weight belt, and the Undertaker gave Rock a choke slam too. Roman tried to hit Cody with a spear but Seth tried to stop him. He got a spear for his efforts. Roman tried to spear Cody again to win but Cody countered and hit him with three Cross Rhodes. He won afterwards and everyone came out to celebrate with him. Sami, Jey and Randy lifted him up on their shoulders and Cody held up the title. I hugged Cody as the show ended. We were backstage having a nice dinner together and Cody thanked all of us for helping him along the way. Cody: The second time was the charm everyone. Thank you for helping me out tonight. All of us except Cody: You're welcome. Little did Cody know that the Raw after Mania 40 was gonna be wild.
