Later that evening I found myself in Gryffindor's common room with a drink in my hand.We were celebrating the beginning of the sixth school year. Every house was invited.
The teachers didn't know exactly what we were doing, but I think they had an idea. For now, they didn't say anything.
I watched as my friends danced and enjoyed themselves. Natty and Poppy had a great time, that was for sure.
I stood by myself, looking at people. Many people had changed during the summer. Some boys had grown a beard and wider shoulders, whereas other girls had gotten bigger breasts and a more feminine figure. It was funny to think of.
I hadn't changed much during summer or so I thought. I felt as though my body still looked the same as last year. I had breasts and a little butt, but not many curves.
Ominis stood near the windows and talked with Amit, a guy from Ravenclaw. He was nice and Ominis seemed to like him.
I didn't know if Ominis was into guys or not. I had a feeling he was, but I wasn't sure. I wanted to talk to him about it, but I didn't want him to feel pressured to talk about it with me. I could be wrong.
Sebastian stood near the fireplace, talking to another Slytherin. Imelda. I'd never liked her.
I had no issue seeing Sebastian talking to her. They were friends and I respected that, even though I didn't understand why he wanted to talk and spend time with her. She just annoyed me and had always done since the first year when we were eleven years old.
"Want more to drink?" A voice said.
I turned around and saw Garreth Weasley. His red hair and freckles were not to be mistaken. In some ways, he and Sebastian did look like each other. It was probably the freckles that made me think that.
I nodded and emptied my cup.
"Yes please," I said, ready for more to drink. "Now you haven't putten something fancy in the punch?"
Garreth laughed and took my cup from me.
"I have, but don't you worry." He said and walked towards the table with all the snacks and liquor. He came back shortly after.
"We have school tomorrow, Garreth," I said, looking at him. "If I get sick it's your fault."
Garreth just laughed and took a sip of his cup.
"As I said, don't worry. This drink just makes everything a bit more fun."
I nodded and took my first sip of the cup. The taste was weird and I felt like throwing up.
"Ew Garreth, what have you put in this?" I said, wrinkling my nose at the horrible taste.
"Yeah, you don't want to know." He said, almost sounding embarrassed. "I need to work on the taste for next time."
I nodded again, taking another sip. I wouldn't even know how to describe the taste and the consistency.
We stood in silence, both looking around. Natty and Poppy were still dancing, looking cuter than ever. Nelly had joined them. I didn't feel like dancing at the moment.
Brown hazel eyes looked at me. Even though he was near the fireplace and I was standing in the middle of the room, our eyes met.
He smiled, raising his cup and I did the same. I chuckled, shaking my head. He kept looking even though Imelda continued to talk to him.
She said something I couldn't hear, making him break eye contact and talk to her again.
I knew Imelda was into him. Almost every girl at school was and I understood them. He was handsome, flirty, good with his words and brilliant with magic.
