"Why are you blocking them?" Domin asked the mysterious man standing at the door. He stayed still and didn't answer his question.
This annoyed Domin and made him want to push him away from the door, but Jinhan held onto his arm before he could because it was really predictable of Domin to have the urge to push people away when he was annoyed.
"Who are you and what do you want from us?" Gyuwon asked, trying to get an answer out of him. The man was wearing a hoodie with the hood up so none of them would see his face clearly.
The three boys saw a smirk growing on the man's face. He then held onto the top of his hood and slowly brought it down and fixed his messy hair that was covering his face.
Gyuwon and Domin gasped in unison at seeing the man's face. Gyuwon took a step back, holding Jinhan's hand who took a step back with him. Meanwhile Domin took a step forward. Gyuwon looked at him in the eyes and shook his head, but he just continued approaching.
"J-Jiho?" Domin said, his eyes widening. Gyuwon's eyes widened as well at the name and let go of Jinhan's hand and stepped forward, which confused Jinhan even more. He knew nothing about this—who Jiho was, why he was blocking the door, and how Domin and Gyuwon know him.
As Gyuwon stepped forward he closed his hands into a fist until his knuckles turned white, which made Jinhan hold his arm, but Gyuwon quickly shook it off almost too aggressively.
Jinhan was shocked at this act at first, but ignored it because he had a different perspective for this "Jiho" person than Jinhan did. He let Gyuwon go forward to Domin and both stared deeply into the man's eyes.
Jinhan went forward as well, but Domin signaled Jinhan with his hand to stop approaching. He did so, getting Domin's signal.
"What is it now," Gyuwon asked.
"Hm... you two remembered me? And your little friend seemed to forget who I am..." Jiho said, approaching Jinhan whose hand was tightly held by Gyuwon once again. 'You should be thanking the angels for keeping you from being traumatized...' Jiho thought to himself.
Jinhan noticed that Jiho looked older than he and Gyuwon were. He seriously had no idea who Jiho even was, and he tried remembering who he was (which he didn't even want to do) but still could not recall a man named "Jiho."
Gyuwon looked at the people and bowed as an apology for the noise and actions they made and pushed Jiho out the door, making him stumble down as he got pushed out. The cold night air slapped at their faces as they got out of the café. "Okay so why are you here again? Did they..?" Domin asked Jiho with wide eyes.
"Can't tell you my business Mr. Know Everone's Business. I know your little defensive and protective self, but you can't do that to me or you know what's going to happen to you," Jiho said.
Domin's eyes rolled then widened and Gyuwon noticed this. He whispered something to Gyuwon that made him gasp quietly. He sent a glare toward Jiho and he just smirked. "So now you remember?" he said with the smirk on his face. Gyuwon pounced at him and grabbed his collar, and he seemed to be whispering something through gritted teeth to Jiho but it couldn't be heard.
"Remember the promise we made," Domin reminded Gyuwon while looking at Jiho which made him let go of him furiously.
The two remembered what Jiho had done, but Jinhan didn't know anything. He didn't know why he couldn't remember, but he felt that whatever he has done to him he would've remembered, because it seemed to move both Domin and Gyuwon a lot. He didn't like seeing them uncomfortable and he wanted Jiho to leave.
"Can't we just..." Jinhan said as he let out a sigh, "talk about this another time..?" he said with a tired voice. Gyuwon and Domin looked at each other and looked at Jiho. "Fine, it's useless to be here with your little pals anyway," he said as he ran away.
"Who was that and what did he do to me," Jinhan asked Gyuwon. He just sighed and held his hand. "I can't tell you now... but..." he told him slowly as he looked down. "You know what? Nevermind. You don't need to tell me if you're going to have a hard time like that. That's why I wanted Jiho to leave, because you and Domin obviously didn't like seeing him. Now please, you two don't need to speak about him anymore," Jinhan said.
"Okay, let's just go home then?" Domin suggested. The other two agreed, so they all went their own ways quietly.
When Jinhan got home, he was really quiet and this worried Ahyoon and his mother. "Are you alright oppa?" Ahyoon asked him as she tried reaching out, but Jinhan just continued going up the stairs to his bedroom once more.
"Did he get rejected on his little date or something?" Ahyoon said, a bit concerned. "Shush Ahyoon. Just give him a minute, he must've fought with a friend or something," her mother told her. Ahyoon just nodded and played her show again.
Jinhan plopped onto his bed and faced the ceiling like he always does when he's just tired, confused, or done with life. He was tired and confused today at what even happened earlier.
"Who even is Jiho? Did he have something to do with me?" Jinhan asked himself as he slowly dozed off to sleep.
"Jinhan. Jinhan," a man and a woman called suddenly. Jinhan got out of bed and turned to the people calling him. They were in human form, but they looked really red. "Do you remember us?" the people asked him. Jinhan shook his head and stepped back as they approached. "Even if you do not, we need to remind you something," they said. Jinhan stopped moving and listened attentively.
"We have been deceived ourselves, but we do not want you to be deceived as well. We can't prevent you from being deceived, but you must act wise. You might not know who we are, but you soon will," they told him as they disappeared into thin air.
Jinhan jerked out of his bed after this short dream and found out he had slept the whole night. He didn't usually believe what people said in his dreams, but something about this dream feels possible. He didn't want to know who they were, and who and how they got deceived, and how Jinhan himself will get deceived.
