Prologue

6-year-old (kindergarten)

A girl with (eye color) at school. Her first day of school matter of fact. With a big smile on her face drawing on her desk a picture of her family hoping her mom would hang this on the fridge.

There sat a boy watching her with amber eyes drawing. It's like he's attracted to her drawing skills. He wants to go up to her and watch her draw and see more but he fears rejection so he sat in the chair across from her taking peeks instead

8 years old (3rd grade)

The same girl with (eye color) orbs but closed with her elbow on the desk and her drooling while the teacher is well...teaching

There sat the same boy using his thick backpack to block her view so she won't get caught by the teacher. Showing a little smile on his face while taking her work and does it for her so she doesn't have to

10-year-old (5th grade)

The girl walks into the hallway to return her dork diary book hoping to get a new book. While making little hops to her step humming Diamond in the Sky by Rhinnha.

The boy wanting to finally talk to her and not just stare at her went up to her hoping to make a conversation with her. He knows she likes the Dork Diary series and he knew she likes to draw so he decided to say "I think your art is amazing and so is the dork diary series"

But the poor boy never talk to his crush before and he was tripping all over his words all he said was "I-i- don't think your art is as amazing as the dork diary series"

The only reaction he has to the girl is a shocked face. He was so embarrassed face all red he fled the scene not looking back at her face. Seeing the fact that made that shocked face on her broke his heart

13-year-old (7th grade)
The girl is now avoiding Xiao. Hoping not to see him because every time she sees him bad things happen. For example, xiao wasted he's water full with paint brushes on the girl's hard work project. But she kept her cool put a smile on her face and told him "It's okay"
That's what she always says to him even tho she's screaming to rip his hair one by one from his scalp and put salt on it

Alas, she reach her locker and saw a note. Shape with...hearts?!?!?

"Holy moly"
The letter told the girl to meet her at the rooftop of the school after school.
Oh, the day she waited for...her 13 years of living someone will confess their love to her and maybe they will get married and have a hamster and live in a big house-
The girl stop in her steps as she saw the black hair boy staring at her.
(This must be some sort of sick prank) the girl thought. But she just smiled at the boy
"Oh hey Xiao...are you uh...looking for someone"
The boy's face heat up (oh no he's probably mad at me. His face always turns red when he sees me why does he hate me so much) the girl thought again
"*ahem* I was yea and uh... I..."
He walks towards the girl and the girl took a step back not knowing where this is going
"I just wanted to say WHAA-" The boy tripped on his foot and landed on the girl

*And they kiss *

I'm ducking with you

His palm was on her chest area

The last thing he felt was a stinging feeling on his cheeks. Took Xiao a full minute to realize she had slapped him

Then she screamed so he's face tears rolling down her face furious with anger "I HAtE yOu. YOu rUIn my LIfE tHInkInG It's FunNY aNd nOw pULl sOMe sICk mOVE LikE tHaT!!!!!!"

She pushed him off and dashed to the door

Leaving the poor boy alone
(why do I have to mess things up) he told himself touching his face with tears that threatened to come out.

Time skip to now  11th grade (17year old)

There standing is a girl walking with her friend's group

There stands a guy leaning against the wall listening with his friend group

They both make the same eye contact cont with each other

But they also have different thoughts in their mind

"I still love you"
" I still hate you"'
