Aarya: "What did I even do?" she said in a voice filled with annoyance and disinterest.

Priya: "How dare you go near Arjun? And why did you shout at my Rohit? You slut!" Priya yelled, her anger radiating in every word.

Aarya (in a mocking tone): "First of all, I’m not a mirror. Second, I have no interest in going near Arjun. And third, I don’t care about shouting at your Rohit." Her voice dripped with sarcasm and indifference.

Priya (shocked and furious): "How dare you speak to me like that?" she gasped, her hands clenching into fists.

Before Priya could continue, Arjun stepped in, his usual playful demeanor on display.

Arjun (with an amused expression): "Who’s this shouting so early in the morning? Ooo, Priya, my love, what are you doing here? You’ve become so thin! What happened? You thought I would say something nice? Never in a million years," he said, his words mocking but playful, as he looked her up and down with an exaggerated eye roll.

Priya (now feeling embarrassed and slightly irritated, her face turning red): "Arjun, what are you even saying? Are you angry? Do you want to...?" she said, her voice trembling with a mix of hurt and frustration, as she pouted exaggeratedly, hoping to get a reaction from him.

Arjun (shaking his head with a grin): "I’m not angry at Su—I mean, yes, I am angry, but not for the reason you think. I’m angry because you didn’t give me a morning kiss. How could you do that to me?" he teased, a mischievous twinkle in his eyes.

Aarya (internally rolling her eyes, thinking to herself): Honestly, their lovey-dovey drama never ends. I can’t believe they’re still at it.

Arjun (turning to Aarya, smirking): "Hey, by the way, how are you? I hope you're still as bad and ugly as always. Or, better yet, maybe you’ve ended up under some guy's pants, just like the rest of them," he said, his voice dripping with sarcasm. He clearly thought he was being funny, but there was an edge to his words.

Aarya (glaring at Arjun, her fists clenched in frustration, but she refused to let his words affect her): I didn’t like what he just said at all, but there’s no point in reacting. I’ll just walk away and ignore him.

Aarya didn’t respond, but her heart was pounding. She felt the sting of Arjun’s words, but she pushed them aside. Instead, she turned on her heel and walked away, making her way to her next class, hoping to escape the tension.

As she entered the corridor, she was met with the news that her class had been canceled. That was a small relief for her. Now, with one free period left, she decided to head to the garden, where she often found solace. The lush greenery and the peaceful surroundings had a way of calming her nerves, especially when everything around her felt so chaotic.

---

Somewhere in China...

A shadowy figure stood in the dim light, his face obscured by the darkness. His eyes gleamed with a malicious intent.

?? (with a sly smile): "Our plan is coming together perfectly," he said, his voice cold and calculating. The air around him seemed thick with tension as he took a step forward, his thoughts clearly focused on something dark.

?? (pleading, his voice desperate): "I—I’m sorry, boss! I’m really sorry! Please, just let me go. I promise everything will be over soon! We won’t go near her again, no matter what we have to do. She can’t escape us, no matter where she goes. It’s too late for her."

The figure’s expression remained unreadable, but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes. His hands were clenched into fists as he processed the words.

---

Back in the college garden, Aarya still didn’t know the extent of the danger approaching her. Her life was slowly spiraling into something she could no longer control, and every day seemed to bring new challenges. But she wasn’t going to back down. She had no choice but to face whatever came her way.

---

Note: Just to clarify, Aarya’s ‘mom’ isn’t actually her biological mother. There’s a lot more to her backstory than she realizes, and the truth is slowly unraveling. Stay tuned for more!

I know this chapter was a bit short, but the next one will definitely be longer—at least 1.5k words, packed with twists and turns.
