- Chapter sixteen -
Once the group got off the train, the pain in Abby's stomach had died down and she was able to walk without any hesitation.
When the group made their way out of the station Abby immediately called Ethan who didn't pick up. "Uhh Ethan pick up, pick up!"
Kirby already was waiting at the theater and once the group reunited with her she asked, "Where's Ethan and Mindy?"
"They're five minutes behind us." Answered Sam who was walking beside Kirby.
"You ready?" Kirby asked the group to which most of them nodded in agreement.
As the group made their way to the entrance, Sam came to holt, "Not you." She said stopping Danny, "I haven't known you for as long." Danny accepted and turned back around kissing Sam's cheek.
"Good call!" Kirby said as she led the group down the vandalised alley.
The group of five entered the theater and Kirby locked the gate that they came in from. "This is the only way in or out so when the killer tries to break in,the alarm will go off locking the creep in the stairwell."
"What about weapons?" Sam asked wanting a knife or a gun.
Kirby then revealed her belt to show the group the only weapon. "This is the only weapon that will be used."
"But what if.." Sam said but Kirby cut her off saying, "I'm the only one here with a badge, so i'm the only one who will use the gun."
Sam agreed and walked down the theater taking her jacket off. Tara and Chad made their way down one of the corridors and Abby ran around the theater looking for a signal.
Abby ran upstairs to the projection booth trying to retrieve a signal. However she failed, "I need to get higher" Abby thought as she stood on the ledge of the window holding her phone upwards.
"What are you doing?" Said Kirby as she watched the girl make a fool of herself.
"Ahhh!" Abby screamed as she looked behind her to see Kirby standing at the door.
"I'm trying to get a good signal." Abby said as she walked past Kirby.
"Why is Ethan not responding?" Abby looked down before saying, "I think Mindy is the killer!"
She got a silent reply and when she turned round she looked down to see Kirby's head gushing with blood.
"Omg, Kirby!" Abby said rushing to the agent, checking her pulse.
Abby quickly looked round for the killer but had not seen him.
"I'm sorry for this" Abby said as she slapped Kirby round the face bringing her back to consciousness.
"Did you just slap me?" Kirby whispered staring at the teen dead in the eye.
Abby awkwardly laughed it off as she picked Kirby up pulling her down to where the rest of the group would be.
