Misunderstanding

Fault in blame

As melody and chat were walking out the door.. chat sighed. "Melody can you please tell me why she is acting weird.. we don't keep secrets from each-other.." "I know minou but it's just...I can't tell you." "Why not?" "She Told me not to say anything." Chat walked to the couch as melody followed behind. She tried to climb up the couch.. Chat gave her a boost. Chat got on his knees while melody puts one leg over his shoulder then the other as he quickly hold her small legs. "Got it?" "Yes." Chat got up and walked.. "Melody can you at least give me a hint?" Melody paused for a minute playing with his dirty blonde hair, she paused. "What's a hint?" Chat open the door and got out of the small apartment. He closed the door. Continuing walking.

"Like a Little help of what's wrong with mama?.." "oh..she never told me any 'hits." Chat chuckled. "Hin-t little melon." he spoke while looking up to her. She giggled. She noticed his black ears. "What's this minou?" "It's my cat ears." "Can I touch it." Even though Chat hated when people tried to touch his ears.. he loved Marinette and Melody too much. he spoke as he exhaled included with a smile afterwards. "Go ahead..."
Melody started rubbing his ear with her thumb gently. Chat reached the black stairs and walked down the stairs. All he could think about is Marinette.. "Melody." "Yes?" "Was Mari- Er.. Mama mad?" "No.." it was silent for a moment.. "Was she Sad?" Melody stayed silent. Looking down at the black rails that led down. "Melody?" ".." "Mama might not love me anymore that you knew.." "What! Melody no don't say that she loves you very much. It's just I'm very worried for her.." Melody felt bad. It was silent again chat looked at his black leather boots. Then back on the black stairs.

"I was playing with starlight and Lily and then..I heard the door close.. I notice mommy crying.." chat eyes wide open. "Do you know why..?" She "No." She spoke as she shook her head. "I just told her everything will be okay." "And she told me to not tell you.." what could he possibly do to hurt Marinette.? he thought biting his lip. As they arrived on the 1st level, there was a lady getting her mail from the mailbox she looked at melody with disgust. All melody did was put her head down on chat blonde hair not wanting to look at her. "What's wrong Mel?" "Nothing. Just ignoring mean people.." As chat sticked himself to the city. He got on a roof then jumped off. Everybody stopped walking and starred at him.
"Why is everybody looking at us..?" A woman walked up in front of the crowd. "she's the reason why all eyes are you!" Everybody started booing at her.

"Minou can you please put me down.." "Why?" "My leg hurts.. mama said when that happened you need to walk." "Okay." Chat crouched down as melody tried removing her legs..she got on the floor.. "She's such a disgrace." "A horrible person." "A bad girl." So many negative thoughts ran through her head.. chat bent down, holding his hand out for melody.. but suddenly.. a woman called out.. "CHAT'S TAKING HER TO THE ORPHANAGE!" She called out.. "Minou what's an orphieg..?" "Well it's a place where kids don't have a mom or dad.. and staying at like uhh house where they take care of you.." "what..?" She spoke softly.. she turned her head to see a man holding out a picture on his phone of chat hugging manon.. "THIS IS A GOOD GIRL RIGHT HERE!" he yelled... "YOUR WHY YOUR MOTHER IS SAD RIGHT NOW!" Another voiced called out... tears rose against her hazel eyes.. she ran through and pushed the crowd. "MELODY!" A voice called out. She felt bad she was the reason for causing her mother and her minou.. why everybody starred at her.. she ran through the street not knowing a car was headed her way while chat followed her behind. A car was about to hit him when he jumped. "Sorry!" He spoke. He chased after melody.. "MELODY WAIT WHY ARE YOU RUNNING?!" "Please leave me alone I don't want to make mama or you sad because of me!" She cried while the wind collected her tears.. Chat used his stick to boost him in front of her. He jumped in front of her. She got startled to the point were she stopped and fell back.

"Melody what do you mean sad?! We aren't sad." "Yes you are! I'm why everybody is always saying hurtful stuff to me and mama. Any where we go! It's my fault and it shouldn't be your fault or mama." Chat immediately fell to his knees. "Also you have already a hazelnut..." "No! Melody...you are my little hazelnut..she just asked for a picture that's all.. I understand if people stare but don't worry..I'll give them a piece of my mind.. because nobody messes with my little melon. And for your mother she's just not going through a good time right now she's probably over stressed or pressure.. which means she's worried for the work and not feeling good please don't ever blame yourself." He spoke as he put his hands on her shoulders.. Then He crawled on his knees to her direction, Then he squeezed. "I love you so much little melly." She smiled. "I love you too..c-chat?" "No you can call me minou only you and ladybug get to call me that." "Really?" "Yes." "But.. Your are you going to take me to an orph..orphane.." "Orphanage?!" "Mhm like that lady said.." he smacked his lips. "No! Don't listen to them melody! They are just talking nonsense I just told you what it means." Chat started purring. "I love you so so so much melody you mean the world to me..." Melody smiled.

"Take her to the orphanage!" The a couple of voices yell.. melody turned her head to see a crowd roaring again with negativity. Her face fell. Meanwhile chat got up and walked in front of Melody. "Alright all of you listen to me now!" He yelled. The crowd voices starts fading one by one.. "Listen. I am not taking her to an orphanage. You all have it wrong!" "No you have it wrong chat! She's the daughter of a wanted criminal that's still alive! You have no idea how bad they are." "If not in an orphanage then a foster home!" Another one added.. the crowded started ranting again. Chat crouched down as melody walked up to his hand holding it tightly. "SILENCE!!!" He screamed. The crowd went dead silence's. "IM AWARE OF THAT BUT IM TIRED OF ALL THE NEGATIVITY. SHES NOT A BAD GIRL SO I WANT ALL OF YOU TO STOP JUDGING HER JUST BECAUSE SHE IS CRIMINAL." He spoke and then let out a big hiss. "So your basically helping the bakers daughter ex daughter..taking care of that crim..-." A voice spoke from the crowd but got interrupted by Chat growled with his ears folded. "Little girl?"she corrected. "Exactly." Phones were immediately taken out flashing photos, whispering.. pointing..

"We should get going now." Chat sat on the floor as Melody jumped, while wrapping her arms around his neck.. "Ready?" "Yes minou!" Chat took his grey staff and sticked himself up to the roof to find himself Andre from a distance..
