Last Time:

Orochimaru and Kabuto were completely baffled by the statement. When did they do any of that?!

Ayame worked worried when Torune tensed in intense pain, "Um these episodes are getting closer together. Do you think ..." Her sentence trailed off and she looked at her father.

Teuchi nodded seriously, for once, "He's having contractions." He said, not entirely sure what to do.

Where will the baby come out when it's a man who's giving birth?

"My insects are ... trying to figure it out." Torune hissed through the pain as a few of the loyal insects came out to find a source of chakra so they can keep fed.

Without any other ideas Teuchi decided to treat this exactly how he did when his late wife suddenly went into labor with Ayame. He just hoped demon nature would take its course better than what happened back then. Despite his fears he had Ayame help remove Torune's pajama pants. They hoped they could figure out what to do or it'd be only a little while until Kaji returned.

It has been nearly a week since they last saw him so hopefully it won't be much longer ...

Hiruzen twitched in annoyance as the snake sage continued arguing with his assistant. It was such a convincing lover's spat that he almost forgot that this was a plot to seduce the decoy demon vessel. If it wasn't for the dead ROOT agent incident he'd actually consider letting them go. Now he just he just wanted Sakura to finish setting up her equipment and begin the torture. Anything to shut the two up!

"I didn't fucking cheat on you! I never even met the demon vessel!" Kabuto screamed at the sulking snake sage in the cage next to his. "The only one who screwed up was you! What the fuck were you thinking killing a ROOT agent when you said to keep low profiles-"

"Why would I do something so stupid?!" Orochimaru snapped furiously.

Kabuto scoffed, "You love your subtle jabs and childish jokes. Burying their ninjas under their own feet would amuse you to no end! Why wouldn't I believe it just because it was in a water tank instead of underground?!" He screamed, making Hiruzen look over to the other side of the room where Sakura was finishing setting up a drill and a hospital bed. All she had to do was fill a couple needles with sleeping drugs and Hiruzen hoped she'd hurry up.

The snake sage glared, "Stupid?! You said you liked my jokes! Is this another thing you lied about, slut?!" Orochimaru winced when he saw Kabuto, not only looked close to tears, but turned away from him. "Kabuto ... Look at me." The assistant refused. "Kabu-Chan? ... Please turn around ... Kabooty? ... I'm sorry, my Testy Tube. Kabu-kissy? Kissy-to? Please, I'm sorry."

Hiruzen cringed as another slew of pet names came out of the snake sage's mouth. Relief exploded in his chest when he saw Danzo enter the room. This sappy blabbering would end once the torture started.

"Is everything ready?" Hiruzen asked Sakura desperately, but frowned when he saw a vein pulsating violently on Danzo's temple. "Did something happen?" Despite the mask worn by the anbu that stepped out from behind Danzo, Hiruzen knew it was Sasuke. "Report."

Sasuke clenched his fists slightly, "The Akatsuki were confronted by a person who knows everything. That person claims to have a ROOT agent spy ... I believe him. He might've even secretly investigated the decoy. The Akatsuki are out of reach until they meet the person again and with another ... This person promised to free the fox." He summarized in a way that would leave Kabuto and Orochimaru clueless, but still get the point across.

Every bone in Hiruzen's body became weak and he turned white as a ghost. It was so obvious that he was shaken that Sakura rushed over to check his vitals. Now he knew why Danzo was so furious.
