Taehyung runs into the nurse who delivered his baby and knows the truth about Chaewon. After hearing to his pleading, she tells him the truth about Chaewon taking his son and bringing him up.

Taehyung knows that Tae is his and Jungkook's son. Taehyung arrives at the mansion and questions everyone for hiding the truth about Tae from him.

Jungkook admits to knowing the truth all along but puts the blame on Taehyung for abandoning Tae at the hospital after his birth. Further, he blames him to be after his money. Before Taehyung could tell Jungkook that Tae is his and Jungkook's child, Suzy faints.

Later, Chaewon reveals to Taehyung that she always knew that Tae is Jungkook and Taehyung's son. She also reveals the truth about Yoona, that she killed her by poisoning her.

Taehyung understands that Jungkook won't give up on Tae and files a custody case. In the court, he tells the judge that he was pregnant with Tae by Artificial insemination and that he was helping Namjoon fulfill his dying wish, shocking Jungkook.

Taehyung loses the case as he is a single parent and Jungkook is with Suzy, including the facts that he abandoned his mother and daughter 5 years ago.

Taehyung begs Jungkook as follows him, who jerks him away and walks to his car. Taehyung tried to follow him but gets hit by a car, right in front of Jungkook's eyes.

Jungkook panics and cries. He takes him to the hospital. After some time, doctors declares that he has few moments left. Jungkook walks into his room, looks at the unconscious Taehyung and cries thinking about all their memories. He begs him to be okay.

Doctors declare Taehyung to be fine after Jungkook talk with him., surprising everyone including the doctors. Taehyung wakes up and recovers after some days.

He confronts Chaewon who blabbers every sin she did, and Taehyung records it. He asks Jungkook one chance to prove himself, to which Jungkook agrees. But he loses the pen drive that has Chaewon's video, losing Jungkook's trust once again.

When Taekook and Tae are playing, Tae suddenly collapses! Taehyung and Jungkook abandon everything and rush him to the hospital where they learn that Tae's blood report indicates lymphoma cancer.

They go back to the mansion. Taehyung tries to stay strong for Tae. He walks out of Tae's room after he sleeps.

He stands on top of stairs crying for Tae, he was about to faint and fall of the stairs, but Jungkook holds his wrist and pulls him back and hugs him.

Taehyung hugs him tight and starts crying.

TH: My Tae has... Tae... Jungkook! Why does this happen to me every single time? Tae has cancer! Will he be alright, Jungkook?

JK: Calm down, Taehyung-ssi. Please.

He hesitantly caresses Taehyung's hair.

JK: You will have to be strong, Taehyung-ssi. You can't give up. If you give up, then who will look after Tae? I promise we won't let anything happen to Tae. I promise you.

TH: He'll be fine.

JK: Yes. He'll be fine.

S: Taehyung oppa. You must be tired.

Taehyung breaks the hugs.

S: Please go home and rest. Kook and I are here to look after Tae.

TH: No! No, I... I won't leave Tae. I won't go from here!
