Detained by Her Majesty

Prologue

I WATCHED my younger brother protest at our mother. He look pissed off when mom left him in the garden. I walk towards his direction and put both of my hands in the pockets of the pants I am wearing.

"Bakit ba kasi kailangan pa ng ganito!? We're already rich and powerful so why the fuck would we still be engaged to someone we don't fucking know!?!" I laughed a little when I heard him whispered so many things.

Oh my adorable little brother.

"You know, wala na talaga tayong magagawa rito. Mom and dad already planned this." Tapik ko sa balikat niya kaya nakabusangot na siyang tumingin sa akin. "I don't get it! Bakit kailangan pa nating magpakasal eh we already have the authority and power in this family!" He exaggeratedly exclaimed which made me smirk a little.

Between me and my twin brother, he mostly got our mother's short-tempered attitude while I inherited our father's calm manners.

"Okay, enough whining now Rawwel. Magpakabusy ka nalang since wala ka na rin namang takas sa kasal." I teased him reason why he rolled his eyes at me then left.

RAWWEL LEFT earlier than I expected. Mukha tuloy akong sad boy dito sa hardin ng malaking mansion namin. "Sir, the duchess wants to talk to you." Tumango naman ako sa butler naming si Lianne.

Lianne is kind of our babysitter, siya narin kasi halos nagpalaki sa amin.

"YOU CALLED for me?" Tanong ko pagkapasok ko palang ng malaking kwarto ni mommy para sa mga bisita niya o kaya para makapag-isa.

"Rawwler, as my oldest I know you already have an idea on what we've planned for you." Simula niya at uminom sa tasa niya. Tumango naman ako dahil doon and I couldn't help but to feel nervous.

"Since alam mo narin naman pala ang kapalaran mo, why not visit your bride-to-be?" She said as she put down her cup of tea and tilted her head still gazing at me.

I nodded like an obedient little puppy. Yumuko muna ako sa harapan niya bago tumalikod at hahawakan na sana ang handle ng pinto ng bigla nalang siyang nagsalita.

"Don't disappoint me this time Rawwler."

I clenched my jaw but still nodded.

WITH THE HELP of Lianne, nalaman ko kung saan ngayon nakadestino ang mapapangasawa ko. Mom just said her name to me and nothing else.

"Nandito na po tayo sir." Bumaba naman ako agad at namangha ng makita ang isang napakataas na itim na gate sa harapan. I called for the attention of a young woman that I've saw walking in the field.

"Excuse me!" Agaw atensyon ko rito and luckily I succeeded. The woman looked at me but I was stunned when I got to see her eyes. It was the most blackest pairs of eyes that I've saw. If you look at it much more longer you can feel that you are falling in a deep deep depth of nothing but darkness.

"What do you want from her majesty?" Tanong niya pagkalapit sa pwesto namin. Tumikhim muna ako bago nagsalita, "I am here since mom told me to visit my bride-to-be." Sagot ko at hindi ko alam kung namamalikmata lang ba ako o totoo ang nakita kong ngumisi siya at lumiwanag ang mga mata niya sa isang hindi mabasa-basang emosyon.

"Sure, come in." She gestured then opened the gate. I smiled at her then told her my thank you's.

But I didn't know that once I've entered that gate, my traumas will start hunting me until my death...
