Prologue

My name is Y/n l/n, I'm 17 and I'm so glad it's finally senior year, I'm a cheerleader and right by my side is one of my best friends, Casey.

to be fair high school wasn't as bad but my freshman year was horrible.

It all started when I met Billy Loomis, I had the biggest crush on the guy when I first moved here for school.

Soon we both shared the same feelings and started dating, he actually wasn't bad but soon Billy became toxic and I couldn't handle it anymore.

We both also had the same friend group but instead of being public to everyone, Billy decided a secret relationship would be better for us both.

So for starters, I never told my best friend Sidney, Tatum, or Casey. Billy made me promise him and I agreed, I didn't realize until now that he was just probably embarrassed by me.

After we broke up it was hard to be in the same group as him, let alone a room. Soon after freshman year, we became bitter with each other.. I wasn't sure how it started but he just always had a hatred for me after we broke up.

I just gave him the same energy and soon I hated him just as much.. first, he put me through hell and then treated me like shit right after!

Our friend group just agreed we hated each other and never thought anything of it, little did they know there was more.

My sophomore was a little better, I met awesome people and joined the cheer squad, I finally got more known and become one of the 'popular kids' but in my defense, I never cared for it, usually at lunch I would sit with my friend group Randy, Sidney, stu, and Tatum.

Note I didn't say, Billy.. he was an enemy just simple as that, I hated him, he hated me no big deal. I always tried to forget that we dated but it was just hard going from someone you loved to someone you hate.

Some people say that would 'hurt' them but I'm glad we broke up, he was a dick anyways and he truly showed it after we broke up.

Sidney never knew we dated so when they started dating junior year I felt upset, not because he moved on but because he knew everything admin still decided to go after my best friend.

The only real person who knew my secret was Randy, my best friend. People called him a freak but I didn't care, we both loved horror movies and worked at the movie store.

Randy actually had a hatred for Billy and Stu which always made me laugh, after I told him the story of Billy and I Randy hated him way more.

Now senior year has been going pretty sure and I can finally say,

This will be my year.
