Chapter 10 - are we still enemies?

As class finally finished up I went up and ran over to Randy, "Me, you, tonight, Star Wars recap?" I grinned and Randy made a weird expression.

"I would love to y/n but I'm going to Stu's party tonight.. I say you should totally come! It could be fun" Randy said.

I thought about it for a moment before waving off and leaving to head to the bathroom, as I almost got there I saw Billy being suspicious by the girl's bathroom.

"Ah so now you're placing cameras in the girl's bathroom, huh?" I joked and he jumped as I catch him.

He looked annoyed but took a small breath, "this is none of your business, okay?" He said back harshly and I actually thought he was now being serious.

He tried to walk away but I grabbed him, "What's with you? First, you're nice to me and talk to me in class and then second you're all harsh to me like wee enemies again!" I yelled.

He thought about it for a second before walking slightly towards me, I backed up a few steps before hitting the wall.

Billy looked around to make sure no one was there and then he trapped me between him and looked into my eyes.

"Maybe we should stay enemies," he said while his eyes went to my lips and back into my eyes, at this moment I had a weird feeling in my stomach..

I looked back at him, "Maybe we should.. cause I have Jace anyways" I replied back and he looked slightly annoyed.

I didn't know why I said that because Jace was actually a nice guy.. but I wanted to see if Billy got jealous of him.

Billy was about to say something but I pushed him off of me, "fine let's stay enemies" I said before walking into the girl's bathroom and seeing Sidney.

I wave to her and walk up to her but she puts a finger to her mouth as some girls were talking in the stall.

"The girl has some serious issues.." some girl said in the stall.

Sidney quickly grabbed my arm and dragged us both into the big stall, as the others were coming out. "What if she did it.. what if she killed Casey and Steve?" I finally recognized the voice.. it was a cheerleader that was in my first period.

To be honest I never cared to know her name.

"Why would she do that?" Her friend asked.

"Maybe she had the hots for Steve and killed him.."

"Why would she do that.. she has well had her bubble-butt boyfriend Billy!"

"Maybee because she's a slut just like her mother"

"Ur evil.."

I got pissed and saw a tear fall from Sidney's cheek, I was about to leave the stall and say something to those girls but Sidney held me back.

As the two girls left Sidney cried into my shoulder and I held her, "Shhh.." I say, "You know NONE of those things are true Sid.."

She looks at me, "it just hurts to hear.." she replied and I nodded while listening to her talk. After she finished she left the stall and stared at herself in the mirror.

"I see a beautiful girl in that mirror," I said and Sidney smiled softly.

"Thank you y/n.."

That's when I heard something in the stall and Sidney looked at the sound too, though it just sounded strange to me.

Sidney ducked down and checked while I just stood up in confusion.

She looked at me again and looked around kinda frightened, I then heard the noise, and this time we ducked together.

I saw a big pair of boots hit the ground and was immediately confused even more, those shoes looked like Billy's.

That's when Sidney's face went pale when a costume came down, if definitely looked like the ghost face one.

I stood straight up and grabbed her hand to get out there, as I did someone opened the stall and I was correct the ghostly figure charged at us but I punched him and we quickly ran out.

We went straight to the principal's office and told him everything, shockingly school would be shut down for a few days.

That mask definitely haunted me..
