After a few rounds of drinks, everyone headed back to the ship, going back into space.
You and Hunter sat next to each other, you nestled against him.
He was spinning his dagger between his fingers, as you both watched Omega try and fix Gonky.
You watched as Omega glanced at Hunter and tried to spin her tool between her fingers.
You smiled at her, looking at Hunter who smiled back.
The transmission console beeped, having you look up at Echo.
"We're being hailed," He said. "It's...Rex."
You shot up from your seat and went to Echo, and sure enough saw Rex on the transmitter.
"Hello boys," Rex said. "And my lovely friend Y/n. Sorry to cut right to it, but I could use your help."
"What do you need, Rex?" You asked.
"I received a distress signal from a Clone Trooper," Rex said. "But I'm a bit tied up at the moment to retrieve him."
"You want us to recover a reg?" Hunter asked.
"He's an old friend," Rex said. "And he's in trouble. I need you to get him out."
You looked at Hunter.
"Out of what exactly?" Hunter asked.
There was another device beeping, and Rex panicked.
"Can't talk right now," Rex said, quickly. "Sending you his signal. I'll be in touch!"
And he was gone.
"What was that about?" Wrecker asked.
"The distress signal sent by CC-5576 is originating from Daro," Tech said. "A terrestrial planet in the Outer Rim with no known settlements or installations."
"What's he doing all the way out there?" Hunter asked.
"Well, does it matter?" You asked.
"We've gone on missions before without much intel," Hunter said. "But this would be stretching it."
"Rex wouldn't ask us for help if it wasn't urgent," You said, and Echo nodded.
"Y/n's got a point," Wrecker said.
"May I remind you that we are in the middle of a job for Cid?" Tech said, towards you. "If we deviate, we will not be compensated. No money means no food."
"Oh, yeah," Wrecker said. "Tech's got a point."
"But Rex's friend is in trouble!" Omega said. "That's more important than getting paid."
"Well, the kid's got a point," Wrecker said, and you swatted his shoulder. "OW! Y/n!"
You looked at Hunter, who looked at you.
"Fine," He said, and you smiled. "We'll check things out. But I don't like it."

You trudged through water, sitting down next to Crosshair with a sigh.
He looked at you.
"You haven't visited in awhile," He said.
"I would have if I wasn't so busy," You said.
Crosshair hummed, staring at you.
You stood up, walking forwards.
"Where are you going?" Crosshair asked.
