You hit trees, hit cliffs, and used the dagger from your boot to try and slow you down.

It was no use.

You kept falling, hitting more trees, before finally hitting solid ground.

You winced.

"Y/n, do you read me?!" Hunter yelled, into the comm.

Ships came landing beside you, troopers coming out and pointing guns at you.

You stood up, staring into the sky to see the Marauder being chased.

"Get the ship out of here," You said. "I'll find another way back."

"Negative!" Hunter said.

"Go, Hunter!" You yelled. "That's an order!"

"I swore to keep you safe, Y/n!" Hunter yelled back.

"I owe Crosshair a little visit," You said, smiling to yourself and looking at the troopers. "I love you, Hunter."

"Y/n, please," You heard Hunter say, his voice cracking. "Don't do this! You'll die!"

"I'm sorry, Hunter," You said.

"Y/N!" Hunter shouted.

The transmitter went dead, and all you could hear was fuzz.

The troopers crepy closer, holding creatures that snapped their jaws at you.

"Stand down, Jedi," The troopers said. "Stand. Down."

You were locked up.

Your saber was taken, and your cloak was folded neatly next to you, leaving you in your robes, boots, and an empty belt.

You suddenly saw a tall Clone come into view.

The one you always recognized.

"I figured you'd show up," You said.

The cell door opened, and you slowly stood up.

Crosshair removed his helmet, his eyes piercing into yours.

"I was hoping for the whole squad," Crosshair hissed. "But you'll do, Mesh'la. You'll do."

You were moved again onto a ship, guarded by three Clone troopers.

Crosshair walked up to you, looking down at you.

"Where are we going?" You asked.

"You'll find out soon enough, Mesh'la," Crosshair said, kneeling down and taking your comm, before looking at you and tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. "And so will your little Hunter."

"Using my comm won't work," You said. "They'll know it's a trap."

"They'll still come for you," Crosshair said. "Hunter especially."

Crosshair left, and you stayed there, twirling the strand of hair that Crosshair tucked behind your ear between your fingers.

The ship suddenly lurched forward, and you knew that meant you were out of hyperspace.

You recognized this place. The presence, the feeling of the ship rumbling.

Kamino.

You felt the ship land, and the troopers led you off the ship, Crosshair in front of you.

"Where are the rest of them?" Rampart asked.

"They'll be here for her," Crosshair said.

You noticed he had your saber in one hand, and your cloak in the other.
