I woke up to the loudest beeping noises I have ever heard. "Honey, you're awake!" I heard my dad calling to me. I was so drowsy and tired I could barely speak. A nurse entered the room and took some blood tests, even though I already had lost a lot of blood already, and then I could go home. Finally. I've felt like I've been in this death trap for ages. My dad walked me to the car griping my hand tightly. As soon as we got to the car he broke the silence and said,"Jesus Gina, what ever made you want to do this? You could of died, you know that right?" Of course I knew that. That was my goal. I want to be gone, because nobody gives a crap about me anyways. I nodded to him. There was silence the whole drive home. I walked up to my room so tired and could hardly stand. There was a knock at my bedroom door. "Hey honey, I just got a call from Blake's parents inviting you over for dinner and of course I said yes. I'll be at work all night so please let me know how it is kid. I'm worried about you. Okay, I have to go now, bye Gina"said my dad as he rushed out of my room and placing a kiss on my forehead. Great. Just great. I pulled out my white floral dress and my white flip flops that my mom gave me right before she left. My mom left me and my dad a while ago, but my dad didn't really mind. She filed a divorce a while back, and that's the last time we've heard from her. I pray for her everyday and hope that she's okay. I hurried down the stairs and waited for Blake to pick me up. He arrived 3 minutes early, like usual. I got in his car and there was silence. "Hey,so I heard what happened at school today and was wondering if you're alright. I know your dad always leaves you in the hardest situations and my parents wanted to invite you over to dinner", he said while gripping on to the stearing wheel tightly. Wow. I really can't believe how nice he's being to me right now. "Um yeah, I guess I'm alright, and it was very sweet of your parents to invite me. Thanks", I replied with a small smile. We didn't speak to each other the whole car ride, but when we arrived to his house, he held the door for me. "Thanks", I said with a grin. We got inside and all I could remember was the memories. Memories.
