The Power of Love - Hythlodaeus x OC x Hades

Plot - one night Megan the warrior of light is feeling incredibly alone and lost. After saving the world everyone thought they could ask for her hand in marriage instantly. But she wants interested. Only the scions new the true reason. After the battle on the moon she explained how she is Hades and Hythlodaeus's soulmate.

Megan's PoV

Hi my names Megan, I'm the warrior of light yeah that one that went to the moon and Ultima Thule and fought to save the world. Now that the impeding threat of our world ending. I still have jobs to do. Sadly after saving the world it seem that a lot of en have it in their heads that they want to "bed" and marry me. So every where I go I'm constantly having to turn down such offers. Yet no amount of saying no can get some of these people to listen. Some of the men have become down right rude and disrespectful to the lengths they've gone to try and "get with me" as they put it. Which is not only royally pissing me off it's making me realise that there's a grave possibility that I'll be on my own until I die in this life. Because I refuse to be with anyone other than the two whom I'm supposed to be with. Only my friends the other scions new of the predicament my soul and I was in. After the final fight with Zenos I traveled back to the ship and promptly passed out. The only reason I was able to make it back to the shop was because of my soulmates. Even from beyond they were giving me hope and aether. When I woke Y'stola, Alisae and Thancred scolded me. But also welcomed me back with loving open arms. Urianger and Alphinaud were fussing over me making sure I was healthy and uninjured. They thank me and welcomed me back. Gra'ha Tia and Estinien took their time welcoming me back and explaining everything that had happened since things were a little foggy in my head. As they were talking they revealed that we'd had two very unexpected but welcome guests help us, That I hadn't gone insane that Hades and Hythlodaeus had appeared in their corporal forms and aided us. Y'stola had a knowing smirk when the others asked why.

Flashback.

We sat on the Ragnarok as we traveled back through space to Old Sharlyan. Surprising us all the Loporitts made us all a cup of tea and some snacks. The best part was they were even carrot flavoured. Everyone looked at me as they waited for me to explain.
Megan - I guess I should explain?
Gra'ha - it would be helpful.
Megan - you saw both Hades and Hythlodaeus in their own corporal forms for the first time. They were two of the three people who helped me the entire time I had gone back in time and was on Elpis. They promised the last time I saw them that they wouldn't let us go through this fight alone that they would help whenever they could.
Thancred - why would they do that?
Estinien - good question, aren't they part of one of many factors we've had to do this?
Megan - Venat, Hades and Hythlodaeus fough with me at every turn when we were in Elpis. We tried to stop Hermes and Meteion but they'd already started the investigation which triggered the events that followed. The mission was Hermes had created hundreds of the entelechy's the same concept that Meteion was. Known as the Meteia. They all shared a single job that they would travel to worlds further than theirs and find out what they wanted to achieve from life, once they had this information they would report back to Meteion what they found out. Even when we confronted Hermes and asked him what he thought could trigger the final days he said it sounded like it could be none other than Dynamis. Dynamis is a form of energy similar to Aether. But far less present than it. Dynamis reacts to large quantities of emotions. It doesn't matter if it positive or negative emotions. It causes serges of energy. A positive energy example would be when fighting together as a team our energy and willpower to defeat a common foe allows the execution of a limit break. A negative energy example if we look back the ancients and when the final days hit Etheirys they acted of a like mind and sacrificed themselves to Zodiark in hopes that he would stop the calamity.
Thancred - so to sum up in more simple terms Venat, Hades and Hythlodaeus Good, Hermes Meteion Bad guys.
Megan - basically. But Hermes and Meteion weren't always bad. They had a good goal. Hermes didn't believe in how things happened in his time how they could make a concept within the clicks of their fingers but then click again and completely destroy it. He found no happiness in it, it was just all they new just routine. Him, Meteion and her sisters simply wanted to see if there was other people out their and see if they could help each other achieve their goals. It was only when Meteion received the reports back from her sisters. Every report she heard back told her of a civilisation that had perished for multiple reasons. Meteion's sisters are presumed. The results caused Meteion to have a panic attack essentially because she never wants to see Hermes sad and she new the results would hurt him. She tried everything she could even running away. It was no use we gave chase and captured her the. Hermes turned his back on us and escaped with her to a research facility. He wanted to learn of the results. I told Hades, Hyth and Venat what I had learned and we gave chase. When we got to them they come to a catastrophic conclusion. The Meteias final conclusion was that life was meaningless and that everyone should surrender to "none existence". Hermes also became despaired by the conclusion and believed it so he helped Meteion escape so she could "sing her song of oblivion"
Gra'ha - so other people's sadness and anxiety combined with loss of life drive the meteia to succumb to despair. And from that everyone part of the experiment was prone to the same fate.
Megan - yes. Hades is Emet-Selch. Hades is his name Emet-Selch is his job. So it would be like if someone referred to Thancred as Gunbreaker or Alisaie as Red Mage. Who we know as Hydealyn was Venat, she once held the job and title as Azem.
Alphinaud - Azem.. you've mentioned them before.
Estinien - so did Hythlodaeus and Hades.
Megan - I am somewhat a reincarnation of Azem, not Venats version but her successor. Whoever she may be.
Urianger - so Haded and Hythlodaeus protected you because they know a version of you to put it simply.
Megan - yes.
Y'stola - of course they'd protect their soulmate.
Megan - why are you the mom of the group and how do you know everything.
Y'stola - I'd summarise they've been doing it for a long time now just nobody noticed the connection. I trust those of us who were in the first remember how Emet was always careful and almost comforting and genuinely interested in Megan despite us being on opposite sides.
Alisaie - I remember he genuinely cared for her.
Thancred - hang on as acting father role of the group. She has not one but two soulmates. I swear the twins best not get any idea.
Megan - over protective much.
Alphinaud - I don't know what I'd do with one soulmate let alone multiple. So you have naught to worry.
Alisaie - if I wish to have ten soulmates and the universe allows it the. I bloody well will.
Thancred - I feel like I should ground you for that.
Alisaie - really we're on a starship what the hell do you think I could get up to.
Estinien - knowing you a lot.
Megan - he's got a point.
Gra'ha - can you tell us more of your connection to Hythlodaeus and Hades.
Megan - sure. So in there time the Azem that replaced Venat is their third soulmate. However due to an unexpected accident Azem just vanished. Leaving no trance. In their world soulmates are very common and when it was one's time the others normally followed suit. Returning to the lifestream together. But because they didn't know what had happened it was deemed unsafe for that plan to be carried out. So they just went on living with hopes she'd come back. When I went to Elpis nobody could see me not even my aether or soul. Despite ancients being well versed in soul sight and it being a common skill. That was until I ran into Hades and Hyth. They could both see me. I believe Hyth said could it be her, hades said that the essence of my soul was to faint to distinguish. So Hyth prompted Hades to share his aether with me. And turned me into my corporal form. We couldn't place the connect at that time so we came up with the cover that I was a familiar of Azem. It wasn't until Venat explained to us the truth that we realised. They promised me then that they would help me. That they wouldn't lose me again. In the end when we had to fight Hermes they sacrificed themselves to save me. Although they didn't die their memories of our time together were wiped along with all the plans we had learnt. Only me and Venat knew the truth.
