Nineteen Seventy-Five
A few weeks later
"Where are you going?" Michael asked Stella
as he leaned his shoulder against her bedroom
door inner framework. Applying a thick layer of bubblegum gloss to her heart-shaped lips, Stella watched Michael through her vanity. "Out." She replied with a crass timbre. "Out where?" Michael already knew where she was going but he just
wanted to hear it come from the horse's mouth."Out to see my boyfriend. We're going to the
movies." Michael was silent for a few seconds as he thought of her behavior over the last few weeks. The power dynamics shifted as Stella was now
in control of emotions and Michael's emotions were completely out of whack due to her parading Raphael around like some trophy. "Why are you still with him? It's supposed to be just me and you Stella.""He's just a cover-up for our relationshi-"
"Bullshit," Michael interjected. "If he's just a
cover up then why do you spend so much time with him?" He questioned. "And why are you always phone with him at night?" Stella turned around to look at him face to face. "Why are you invading my privacy?" Lifting her brow, Stella's head tilted a bit."Your business is my business." Michael stepped
inside the bedroom and closed the door behind him.So you can fuck around with Stacy but I can't
have a little fun with Raphael? Sound unfair to me."Swiveling back to the mirror, Stella began to add
some mascara to her lashes. "You know damn well I ended my situation with that girl," Stella responded with a slight hmph. "So are you trying to punish me
for the things I did in the past? I thought that was behind us?" Moving a foot above the next, Michael stood behind Stella and placed his large hands over
her shoulders, and gently massaged them."Why do I always see you talking to Stacy at
school?" Stella asked while shrugging his hands away."Just because I don't date the girl anymore,
doesn't mean I have to be mean to her Stella.""Yet you were mean to me. Interesting."
Michael sighed, "I was an asshole because I was confused about us and didn't know how to handle
my emotions. But I know what I want now and baby it's you. It has always been you." Lowering his head down, Michael placed a delicate kiss against the side
of her temple. His lips felt cold."I don't want you to go out with him, end the relationship." He demanded. "Stop telling me what to do Michael." He wasn't happy with her response, not one bit. "I mean it, Stella. End it with him or else."
