A/N: guys I'm so so sorry for not updating- I was super busy and completely forgot about this account for a bit- I'm really trying to focus on my dream of becoming an actor and I'm trying to also take better care of myself, so expect me to be pretty inactive </3 I'll still be here sometimes though, Dw!
To make up for it, here's a pretty cute chapter! I'll also be updating "Our Little Secret" most likely

The statues are still confusing me. I'm still trying to research any possible solution on how someone could bring these statues to life. I asked Xavier, and he said he could only do it with thing's he had created, so I searched that. Apparently, they have to be originally 2-D.
I wandered around the old, wispy halls of Nevermore. I wanted to get up and close with the entity, or whoever was causing this. That's the best way to find something out, you know, just do if yourself.
I got back to my dorm, Tyler was at my desk, staring at my typewriter. A stack of papers was next to him, with writing I knew I hadn't done. When he saw me he quickly scooted back, hand discreetly moving the papers behind the chair. A quite impressive move, not many people would have noticed. Though I didn't need to know what he was typing, so I ignored it.
"Hey Wednesday, how was school?" He shot a lopsided grin at me as I shut the door. I sat down in my bed, looking at him, and rolled my eyes.
"It ended 5 hours ago, Tyler. It's 8:00. I was here 30 minutes ago." I scoffed in amusement as his face turned a little pink.
"Yeah, I didn't get to ask you then." He leaned forwards and put his head in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees.
I looked him up and down, then into his eyes. Those beautiful eyes, they were the color of Ivy, the color of snake scales. I eventually broke my daze, speaking again. "That's terrible posture, it'll hurt your back."
He straightened up and leaned back in his chair, smiling "Alright then." He laughed.
"Come with me." I got up and went to the door. He almost immediately followed, not saying a word. Unusual for someone like him, though I didn't look more into the thought. "We're going on a walk, you haven't been really outside for awhile, and it's dark out, so most likely, nobody will see us." He nodded and crept right behind me.
Tyler wasn't a terrible hiking partner. He didn't try to start up random conversations, he wouldn't stay too far behind, and he wouldn't go too far ahead. We got to a small clearing in the woods, where the path started to get smaller. We were going off the main road.
We were still walking in silence until I decided to break it. "Does the Hyde talk to you?"
Tyler stopped in his tracks, and I turned to face him. "S-sometimes. But not often. He's mostly quiet. honestly I don't think he's evil, either." He paused, I was quiet for a moment.
"Why do you think that?" I stepped closer to him, not much though.
"He really just does what people tell him to, and then I have to do it too. I like to see him more as a sibling, and our masters as parents, but sorta different? If they tell us to do something, we have to do it. We don't really have many options. Hydes are bound to their master, they have to follow what they say."
I had never thought about it that way. How maybe everyone has different feelings, ideals, goals, and hopes. I didn't really think of the Hyde as someone on our side, which I really should have been doing. Maybe if Hydes were respected and treated like they're not part of the human they've been born with, they would be more likely to have great lives.
I realized I was staring at Tyler, so I looked up at the sky, where his eyes were laid. "The stars are Beautiful tonight." He mumbled, then looked back down at me. I looked up at him, and we leaned in, his soft lips pressing against mine. My hands slowly rose up to his shoulders, one of his arms wrapped around my waist, the other holding my face. We stopped after a bit, and I rested my forehead his chest. His chin was on top of my head, both hands now at my waist, and we stood there, together, in the moonlight, the cold wind brushing against us.

When we got back to the dorm, it was around 10:30. nobody had seen us, so we started to get ready for bed. Once we had both gotten in bed, we managed to fall asleep pretty quickly. Tyler did, at least. Once I knew he was asleep, I snuck out of my bed and over to the strange papers he had on the desk. There weren't too many words per page. Poems.
She's like a midnight raven
Hair and eyes dark
Those Stormy skies fill my heart
I never want a sunny day
If I get this when it rainsThey were very well written... and all seemed to be about me.
I wonder what it's like
To see from her point of view
I wonder if I'm a snake
Or maybe a doll
A puppet?
No
I Hope to be moreThey were all unique, some better then others, but all impressed me.
"Oh, you found them." Tyler stood behind me, looking nervous.
"These... these impress me. I'm flattered by amount of work you put into something about me."
"Hm?" He raised his eyebrow, now curious. "I just write what comes to mind. It helps with connecting with the Hyde more."
"Well," I paused. "I think they're well written." I saw him blush, even in the dark of the room his face was clearly pink. I approached him and gave him a soft kiss on the neck. "Goodnight, see you in the morning" I got back into bed, the poems on my bedside table, and Tyler already asleep again. I soon, slowly drifted off too.
