Something is definitely wrong on this particular day in Sumeru.

The people around her, including Paimon beside her, they may have never realized it, or maybe they do, but an unknown force had made them forgot. And admittedly, it does have an effect on her too, but thankfully however, she has become more and more self aware after Archon knows how many times this phenomenon has been repeated.

She haven't even spent a week yet in Sumeru, an yet Lumine had already came face to face with yet another major problems that block her progress yet again.

The plan should've been simple for her, she'll be attending the important day in the nation of wisdom known as the Sabzerus Festival, a festival dedicated towards the birthday of the Sumeru Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali.

From what she have gathered so far, Sumeru has two Archons that ruled the nations throughout history. The first of the two Archon is known as Greater Lord Rukhadevata, the original god of Dendro, one of the original Seven that took the throne of the gods above in Celestia, alongside with Barbatos and Morax. She was the one who created the Sumeru city, and the one who built the Akedemiya it stood tall today. But sadly however, she have long died 500 years ago, at the same time as when the Cataclysm happened, the same disaster that took Raiden Makoto's life.

However, unlike Makoto who have Ei as her identical twin and body double who inherit the nation of Inazuma without the knowledge of even the higher ups Inazuma, making the true Archon's death remain unknown up until now, Rukkhadevata... Has no one, no identical twin, no body double, and no way to mask her death from her people.

And that was when Lesser Lord Kusanali come forth.

This Lesser Lord Kusanali... She is the brand new Archon born to take over Rukkhadevata's place as the goddess of Sumeru, the next god of wisdom, and the one who shall preserve the legacy that her predecessor had left behind.

Or at least that's definitely what should've happened.

In every corner she goes in Sumeru city, all that Lumine hear is nothing but blasphemy and slander that stinks ungratefulness.

"Lesser Lord Kusanali? Hah! That meager excuse of an Archon is nothing compared to our true God of wisdom."

"Sabzerus Festival? Hmph, why should I even care about it, when all I know is that those who celebrate it, is doing nothing but celebrating our true goddess' death?"

"That child couldn't possibly dream of walking on the same degree of Greater Lord Rukhadevata. She is the true God of wisdom. And as for that girl? A sorry existence that shouldn't be existed in the first place."

Tch, if only she had enough care for this world, then Lumine swore that she'll throw bricks right into those prick's faces just to make them shut up.

Did those people on the Akedemiya really that dense? They highly praise their god and cherish the wisdom that she had brought upon this land, yet the first thing they did after she left them with their invaluable legacy, is to capture and lock her up? Did they even bother trying to see what she's capable of? Or wait for the progress she made after 500 years? Do they even deserve to be called sages? When they are so blinded by their own personal feelings and aspirations like this? A God has just only been born, and this is the first thing they did?
