*Rileys POV*

“So, I see someone’s in a good mood about how Charlie’s birthday went?” Henry asked in his quite composed voice. I smiled a little, not so happy about the party, happy about after the party. He’d taken my present and even hugged me goodbye. Having him in my arms felt great…

“Yeah, it was fucking hilarious” I agree enthusiastically. Though ‘hilarious’ would not eb my first word choice when describing Charlie’s naked body.. Not time to think about that. Clearing mu head, I scan the lunch table. My group seems to get stranger each day.

Katy is all but sitting on Tyson, trying to make baby faces with him and kiss. Tyson’s not having it. He looks distracted and a little pissed off. You think he’d be happy that Quinn back at our lunch table.. Even if he did bring weird girl Tia. Speaking of which-they were happily holding ahnds, Quinn appering smug.

“Hey, if you’re here whose having lunch with Ol….Oliver?” Henry asks. We all stare at him blankly, and the towering but mostly silent boy looks a little nervous under our bright and questioning looks. It just isn’t like him to ask such a random question.

“He’s eating with a friend of ours…” Tia mutters, in a way that suggests she’s not a fan of Henry.

Awkward silence from every person. Then Katy giggles. “Tia, I heard a rumour that you and Oliver fucked?” she half asks half accuses. I frown. I know Ollie-he’s gayer then gay. Why would Katy even suggest..?

Tia blanches anyways. “I highly doubt you heard that, your just trying to start things you homophobic uneducated bitch” she yells. Oh, I knew her having lunch with us was not a good idea. But I, like Henry, hadn’t said anything for fear of scaring Quinn away again.

“God Quinn, who knew you’d end up with such a spaz…” Tyson jabs. Quinn bristles.

“Okay, well, clearly this table isn’t capable of functioning with me here. Peace” Tia said as she got up and left. Shooting Tyson an annoyed glare Quinn gets up and stalks after her. The table momentarily lapses into silence well Katy hides a smug smile.

Just as we’re settling the sound of laughter and mocking reaches us as Charlie enters the cafeteria. Emily’s right there with her and never have I hated Quinn and Tyson’s annoying little sister quite this much. I give them both a coy look and the taunts rebuild.

There are plenty cat calls in Charlie’s direction, but the other kids are just making fun of him, so I’m at ease with it. Emily flips them off and drags her boy toy to sit down at a cafetria table. I feel like I’m about to twitch from the bundle of nerves swirling through me.

On one hand I can feel that farmilliar push to get up and shout insults at Charlie, and the urge is only intensified by his prickly little girlfriend. On the other hand, I’m thinking about the ‘friends’ key chain that’s hidden safly at home under my pillow. Secret friends..

Henry nudged me “Aren’t you going to have your cake and eat it to? You havn’t said a word since he walked in…” he points out. I feel the need to blush burn in my core but shove it away for my prides sake. I stand up, just because I’m now realising how strange it’d look if I didn’t hassle him a little.

“Hey, Been to any good parties lately?” I call across the room. The kids loud babble falls into whispers as they watch with excited eyes, curious as to what Charlie will do. But when he looks up, there’s shock in his eyes. Shock and hurt. I feel myself internally flinch.

I’m about to sit back down, seeing as I’ve done an unsuspicious amount of damage and I don’t want to make Charlie anymore pissed then he’s already going to be, but then Katy stand up and starts full out chirping the poor kid. “You should just kill yourself!” she finishes.
