Snow Country: Glacier Borderline

"So you decided to face me huh? Let's get this over with little girl," Aoi gave a mock bow.

"...That's an interesting sword you have," Yugito said when she saw him activate it in a blaze of yellow light.

"It's amazing isn't it? I tricked this stupid Genin named Idate into stealing it for me; too bad he escaped before I could kill him. Oh well not like it matters," the Ame nin said with a smirk. He levelled the sword at her, "shall we?"

"You know with a sword that big you'd think you were compensating for something," a cat-like grin stretched across Yugito's lips.

Aoi sneered at that, "I was originally just going to kill you outright but after that comment...I think I'll enjoy myself first".

"I wouldn't count on it," Yugito growled back.

A split second later seven lightning clone appeared behind Aoi; it all happened in an instant...he twirled the Raijin around and with pure lightning manipulation alone, he absorbed the clones.

He stopped a moment later and chuckled. "Really now; using lightning against me? When I have the Raijin? Surely you had to of realised it is useless to resist; after all no one can stand up to the power of the Raijin, to my power".

"I just wanted to check, bastard; I needed to make sure of something. That's all," Yugito shrugged with a small grin.

"And what might that be?" he asked intrigued for a moment.

"I wanted to test your reaction time," she said simply and suddenly burst into static electricity.

'She was a clone?' his eyes widened at that thought.

Yugito emerged from the ground a moment later with her arm covered in what looked like pure fire.

"Kaizuki!" she called out as she slashed at him. Aoi brought his sword to bear and the two clashed between them. Sparks flew off to the side as they broke apart, "Tsuin Kaizuki".

Her other arm was suddenly engulfed in flames and she spun around to catch the Ame nin's unprotected side. He parried the attack though and was surprised that she had not keeled over in shock from the electricity running through the sword. The blow came faster and faster; eventually he was brought the sword down to cleave her in half only this was a mistake...a mistake that cost him.

She brought both of her arms up and locked the weapon between her two fire blades. Then in one swift motion; her arms moved like scissors and cut the sword at the handle. Aoi dropped the weapon in shock; this had never happened before! He wasn't able to think properly after that as Yugito cut right through him from back shoulder to thigh. His body melted into nothingness, forever erasing his presence from the world.

She sighed in relief and turned towards where the two sections of the Raijin lay on the ground. She only took a moment to catch her bearings and seal the two pieces for future use. Maybe she'd be able to repair it once they returned to Konoha...if they returned to Konoha.

For now though she still had a mission to complete...she just hoped everyone else was alright.

Snow Country: Snow Mountain

"This is such a fitting arena wouldn't you agree Uzumaki-san?" Nadare asked as the two stood across from each other.

Naruto just stared with his Rinnegan activated, "you're in my way".

Nadare smirked at that, "then how about we finish this little dance huh?"

"Fine by me," Naruto said and formed a hand-seal. "Kage Bunshin no Jutsu," a single shadow clone popped into existence beside him.
