Cybertron was a beautiful planet, but for Cybertronians, it was known to host the best lobball tournament games at Kaon.

Pyrite has never cared about anything related to Lobball, despite it being anything and everything people would talk about these days. She just didn't see the point with it — tossing a metal ball around to drop it into a hoop? Seriously? Yeah, she would have to pass on that. Pyrite barely had any friends and only a little sister (or friend) named Peril. The two sisters were very different, one hating Lobball and intensely focused on her grades (she always seemed to be failing anyways), while the other one loved Lobball to death and barely cared about her grades.

Basically, a hyper Miko for a sister.

So when her sister — a fan of the Autobot Lobball team — makes her promise to attend the upcoming Lobball game for the school, it's not something she wants to do. However, when she was adjusting in her seat along the benches that was within the Gym, grumbling how idiotic this whole concept of Lobball is, she wasn't expecting for her optics to train on a certain figure the whole game. It is her own little nightmare in all of its glory until she realizes how awfully good Bulkhead was at the game, always seeming to 'carry' the team to wins when it came to defending, dumping the lobs in the baskets, and accidentally tripping himself.

Seeing the mech surprisingly amusing and incredibly good with the game, she finds herself coming to every Lobball game and practice until Bulkhead takes notice, making the two engage in a long optic-contact stare until one of them grows flustered and glances away.

When the two final move past their shy and flustered personalities, they both agree to work on their homework together all the while falling in love with each other through Lobball.

NOTES

I, this is a Highschool AU book, meaning that everything is Highschool themed on Cybertron

II, like the OC faceclaim above, you can tinker with Pyrite's look. Honestly, I would imagine her color paint ranging from a brown color to a copper/red color, but completely your choice! OC is a Cybertronian femme, of course

III, the femme can either be named Pyrite or Y/N, your choice! If Y/N, than no direct description of how they look

IIII, Pyrite is a bookworm girl but is not very smart, her grades always seeming to be a C or a B

IIIII, Pyrite is neutral while Bulkhead is apart of the Autobot team

IIIIII, there are two teams when it comes to lobball (kind of like Basketball). Autobot and Decepticon. The two teams sometimes quarrel with one another when there isn't a  game

IIIIIII, the Academy the Highschool is somewhere between Iacon and Kaon

IIIIIIII, OMG I JUST HAD THE BEST IDEA EVER. Since this story is a whole AU book — like how there are no gladiators, just Lobball players hosting games in the Pits of Kaon — how cool would it be for MIKO to be Pyrite's sister!? You completely have my permission to change Peril's name to Miko. Of course, have her be a Cybertronian — black/gray with pink

IIIIIIIII, Pyrite's attitude and personality is similar to Ratchet's grumpiness and Ultra Magnus's strictness when it comes to 'staying on track with schoolwork'. Despite Pyrite's hardworking to get a better grade, she always seems to fail

IIIIIIIIII, I would imagine Pyrite and Bulkhead's relationship filled with pure fluff and cuteness. So if it's near the end of the book, and you want to add some couple-time (they don't become a couple until late in the book) then definitely add pecks of kisses and cuddles

IIIIIIIIIII, If you want, add a scene where Breakdown takes notice of Bulkhead's close proximity to Pyrite which provokes the Decepticon to 'hang/talk' and be near Pyrite only to make Bulkhead jealous and protective. Aaaaannnnnnnnddddd, it works
