This morning, I woke up and heard the devil screaming. It's a wonderful thing called an alarm clock. So it's 7:30! It was the first day of summer break. My dad always fed in the morning, so I didn't have to worry. I got up, made my bed, and walked downstairs. My dad wasn't home, and my parents have been divorced for years. I haven't seen her since. I made toast and jelly and walked back into my room and ate while I planned for the showing season.
2 HOURS LATER
It was about 9:30 and I just finished planning. I got up and changed in some running clothes. I got a water bottle and started my walk, I can walk to town, and it will only take 10 minutes, and I can get my steps in. After 5 minutes, I looked to my side and saw a small flower field, which has been their since I was born. Then I walked 2 more minutes, and I felt a feeling that someone or something was following me, so I turned around and saw an adorable cat. I was worried over nothing.
IN TOWN
I made it to the town and went to the store so I could get a couple of items. I got a small bag of treats and carrots for the horses. I checked out and left and started walking back to the house. I felt like I had forgotten something. I checked my pockets, and my phone was missing. Turns out I left it at home.
BACK AT HOME
10:00
I walk inside the house and put the bags down. Then I walked up to my room and changed into my jeans so I could go put the stuff in the tack/feed room. I knew it was getting messy. I can clean it this weekend while my dad is home just so I have someone to help me. Plus, I didn't want to bother anyone. My dad likes helping anyway.
AT THE BARN (10:05)
I walked into the tack room and refilled the carrot, and treat bin. I put away a bridle that was out of place. I noticed there was something in the corner. It was a small mouse. Shit. Which meant that I would have to put traps down.
