Kion and Rani: Rise

Chapter 26: "A Fight"

Kion watched Csongor and Tabor throw his parents, and newest sibling into the beginner cave. He wished they weren't here, but now, they are.

Zuri couldn't believe it. She had to fight Seth. Seth smirked at her, "C'mon, let's go."

Seth and Zuri walked out into the arena. Kaz smirked evilly. Zuri assumed she had done this on purpose. She knew Zuri had feelings for Seth.

Seth stood on one side of the arena, and Zuri was on the other side.

Seth winked at her, and Zuri blushed.

"Fight!" Kaz roared. Seth walked up to Zuri. He whispered in her ear, "Hit me." Zuri was shocked but nodded. She gently pushed him.

"Oh no! You got me!" Seth stood up his hind legs, holding his chest. He fell on his back dramatically.

Zuri giggled. Seth looked up and smirked, "Oh the pain! It burns!"

"What the fuck is this!" Kaz glared at the two.

"The light! I see the light!" Seth said dramatically. Zuri laughed. "What do you not believe me?" Seth sat up.

"No. I'm not that strong. I couldn't hurt you if I tried," Zuri giggled. Seth smirked. He pinned her down.

Zuri stared at him. "Admit that I'm stronger," Seth smirked. "No way I'm admitting to that!" Zuri scoffed with a smile.

"I'll have to kiss you then," Seth leaned down. Zuri's eyes widened. Seth laughed and jumped off her. Zuri stood up.

"Fight or you're both dead!" KamiKazi growled.

Seth and Zuri ignored her. Seth booped her nose, "Boop." Zuri giggled, "Heey!" Seth smirked. Zuri took her paw and ruffled his mane. His mane was a little bigger than Kion's, but it wasn't full grown. It almost was though, and he already had his chest mane.

"Ahh! Not my mane!" Seth smiled and shook it back up.

"Well, they're dead," Baliyo said.

"I think it's cute how the toughest lion here, is flirting with Zuri," Kovu chuckled. He nuzzled Kiara.

Zuri playfully bit Seth's ear. He smirked and pinned her down. They wrestled.

Kaz narrowed her eyes, angrily, "Finish them." Aytaç ran down into the arena.

Seth sensed something was wrong. He got off Zuri. He turned around, and Aytaç attacked him.

Seth roared and threw the wolf creature to the ground. Zuri backed up, scared.

Seth unsheathened his claws and scratched Aytaç's eye. He yowled in pain, but didn't stop fighting. Seth dodged his attack, and Aytaç lunged at Zuri. Seth roared angrily and jumped onto his back.

Aytaç couldn't hold the male lions weight, and collapsed. (Seth is about 300 IBS. That is about the weight of a teenage male lion)

Seth growled and bit into Aytaç's neck. The creature yelped. Seth let go. Blood dripped down Aytaç's neck, but he was still alive. Seth jumped off him.

Aytaç ran off.

Seth turned back to Zuri, "You ok?" Zuri nodded. Seth sighed with relief, "C'mon let's go. Kaz got a fight, so now we can go back into the cave."

KamiKazi growled. Sure she did get to watch a fight, but not the fight she wanted.

Seth and Zuri walked into the Advanced Cave. Kovu smirked at Seth. Zuri walked over to Tiifu.

"What?" Seth asked sitting down. "Nice flirting. Zuri's falling for you already," Kovu chuckled.

"W-We weren't flirting," Seth said, embarrassed.

"Oh yeah? Then what was that?"

Seth looked away. He couldn't face Kovu.

"I KNEW IT! YOU LOVE HER!" Kovu laughed. "Shhh! Shut up!" Seth covered Kovu's muzzle.

Kovu pushed Seth's paw away, "You love Zuri!" Seth tucked his ears down in embarrassment.

Thankfully, Tiifu was talking loudly, so Zuri couldn't hear what Kovu was saying.

"You know Kovu, for a full grown male, you're pretty immature," Seth said. "Eh," Kovu shrugged.

Kion stared out of the cave, sadly. Seth noticed and walked up to him, "You ok Kion?"

Kion sighed, "Rani's gone." Seth didn't know what to say. "I can't live without her. I mean, why did she have to die! Why couldn't she have stayed here, with me," Kion choked on his words, as if about to cry.

"Look Kion, she might not be here physically, but she'll always be in your heart," Seth said.

"It's not the same," Kion looked down.

Seth looked out at the arena. Zuri sat next to him, "Kion isn't doing so well I see."

"He misses Rani," Seth replied. Zuri leaned her head against his shoulder, "We all do." Seth was shocked, but eventually got used to Zuri leaning against him.

"I wish my God powers gave me a way to bring her back to life," Seth sighed. "Everyone has their limit Seth. Even the most powerful of gods," Zuri stated.

"I know. But it would mean so much to Kion, if I could give him even just a minute with Rani again," Seth placed his chin on Zuri's head and sighed.

"You always put others before yourself Seth, and that's what I like about you," Zuri smiled. Seth lifted his head off her and stared at her, "Y-You like me?"
