Rebecca moves the curtains, letting the sun strike directly on Serene's face which immediately awaken her from her sleep. She scratches her eyes, turning to the side to see who moved the curtains and upon seeing it was Rebecca, she rolled her eyes in disappointment.
"It's time to get ready for class" instructs Rebecca. Serene frowns at the idea, she instead dig deeper inside the blanket "I told you I will not go to class!" grumbles Serene
"Then get ready to pay a thousand dollars for that" warns Rebecca which made Serene sit straight from her bed, her hair a little messy and her eyes all puffy, a hint that she had cried last night.
"What thousand dollar?" shouts Serene
"It's the fine for students who get absent" Rebecca replies sitting on the chair where the windows were located. Her figure was now blocking the sunlight and somehow she looked like a divine goddess in that manner. Serene looks down and ponders about what Rebecca has said.
"Did you change your mind?" Rebecca questions her tone a little sarcastic
"bu-but I just can't stand the sight of man around me?!" Serene instead replies with her worries
"Do not worry Young Lady, you just need to have your attendance check and your free to go!" interrupts Bridgitte who was actually standing where the door was
"Really?! So that means I don't need to stay while the class is starting?" exclaims Serene, her face shines with the good news she has received
"Bridgitte! Did I allow you to tell her that?" Rebecca scolded Bridgitte. Bridgitte as fierce as she look, folded like a child on Rebecca's scolding biting her lips. "As for you Serene, Yes! What Bridgitte told you is true. You don't need to stay in class, you just need to have your attendance check" Rebecca confirms
"That's great!" Serene jumps from her bed rejoicing
"But first, take these" Rebecca stood up and brought out from her pocket a small box with a red ribbon on it.
"What's that?" Serene furrowed her eyebrows while Rebecca opened the box and Serene saw that it was the famous apple pendant necklace which only students of the Academy are allowed to wear.
"Wow! I never thought it would look this beautiful!" Serene exclaims as she reaches out for the necklace and immediately wears it on her neck "This is beautiful" she added feeling the pendant with her fingers
"Aside from that, there's your school uniform" Rebecca informs pointing at the dress form where the uniform is displayed. Serene turned her head and she immediately loved the sight of her uniform. The uniform comprises of a skirt, a coat and a collared dress. The school's emblem which is an apple with four rivers inside it was delicately sewn on the right pouch of the coat.
