CHAPTER 5 - THE BOY WITH THE PIANO

                "Nice to meet you Ms. Kreiss, I am Thea Jones, your psychiatrist" smiles Thea offering her hand for a shake which Serene didn’t think twice to shake it. Serene looks around and she feels the warm atmosphere that is present unlike what she has in mind of a gloomy psychiatric room. A sunflower is even on top of the table and the wall is painted with warm yellow.

Thea motions her hand offering the bed to Serene and so she sat on it.

                "So your arrhenophobic I heard" adds Thea sitting at the nearest stool

                Serene looks at Bridgitte and Mona while they mouthed ‘go on’ to her "Yes I am" softly replies Serene being assured by her two guards.

                "This school never failed to have interesting female students I guess" says Thea, Serene was baffled on why Thea said that and so she immediately replied with a question "Why?"

                "Oh! Sorry for that, it's just that all the female students who entered this school have different circumstances of their own" replies Thea waving her two hands like she is driving away something in the air

                "Like who?" Serene draw her face nearer not able to hide the curiosity from her expression. Thea smiles and gracefully lays her back on the chair.

                "The First school prefect was known to be a playgirl.” Thea starts. Serene on the other hand didn’t quite understand why that is considered peculiar compared to her condition. Thea notices that Serene was lost and so she further explains it “Well, you know it was considered radical in their days since it was still during the conservative years.” Serene nods as finally she understand the point

“The second and third also have their own issues but among all of them I could say that I am well versed with the fourth school prefect which I think you know already?" Thea adds giving Serene a questioning stare

                "Yes Rebecca already told me that she was the fourth school prefect" confirms Serene

                "Good then. Well, in her days she was infamous for her attitude of coldness towards everyone. Her sarcassm is just way to the top!"

                "She is still sarcasstic." adds Serene

                "She still is but if you have come to know her the last decade, you would agree with me that a lot has changed in her"

                "Really? then that means she was worst back then?"

                "She is! Well, aren’t you normal when you’re in front of a female?" Thea questions as she seems to notice how Serene feels at ease towards her.

                “That is true. I only act different when a guy is in front of me” Serene replies almost like a whisper. She plays with the hem of her skirt like a little girl.
