HOGWARTS GYPSY SUNSHINE

~CHAPTER 1~

"Come on Angel," Lacey yelled from outside where she was cooking a full English breakfast over the fire, all while constantly whacking her two sons away from taking rashers of bacon that had already been cooked and were beginning to cool down. "Coming mum!" Angelina called. 

"I was just double checking to be absolutely sure that I have everything packed and ready to go," she said walking out of her room to see her mum as Charlie popped one of his stolen bits of bacon straight into her still open mouth.

"Seriously!?" exclaimed their dad as he came and sat down with them, taking his dirty boots off. "Can you two not wait ten fucking seconds? You are not gonna die of starvation while waiting for your mum to finish cooking," He said trying to tell them off, but failing as a smile made it's way onto his face and he coughed to cover up his laugh as his wife wacked him with her tea towel, chuckling quietly to herself at her family's antics. 

"Sorry dad," the boys answered smugly, holding back their own laughs better than their father had as they watched Angelina skip over and hug him laughing herself, before distracting him by launching into a conversation about the new horse that they had bought last week. The boys joined their mum, dad and sister sat around the fire while Lacey dished up their breakfast before they all started at Hogwarts later that day. 

"Right," Johnny started after he realised that all of his family had finished eating "I won't be apparating to Kings Cross station with you as I've got business to take care of here, so I'll say goodbye now and write when you get there and you can all tell me and your mum all about everything that happens. I'm expecting a reply to be caught up with all of the back to Hogwarts drama, within at least two days. Alright?" 

"Yes dad!" they chorused laughing at his interest in their school's drama. 

"Bye dad, speak to you soon I promise," Angelina replied as he brought her in for a hug and kissed her on the top of her head as he held her. She went to sit with her mum as her two brothers said goodbye to him just as she had done. 

She didn't ask what business it was that he was dealing with as if it was about the horses he would've told her all about it and probably asked her advice on the matter as he often did, as Angel was often referred to as the 'Animal Angel' on their site as she had a wide knowledge and love for animals of all sorts and also had a habit of taking in stray animals that others wouldn't dare. So she knew that whatever the business was it had something to do with the gang that he was apart of.

 Due to this fact, she had a wide range of animals which she cared for and would often try to take to Hogwarts so she could still care for them.

At this current moment in time she had Bob the three legged, one eyed ginger cat, who could often be found lying draped over her shoulders like a scarf; Duke the old black labrador, who was calm and tended to sleep wherever there was sun and Angel; Holly the rottweiler puppy, who was her newest adoptee so was still scared of people and followed her everywhere; Tommy her stallion who she had reared from a colt after his mother was taken and sold and finally Esme who was her mare, recently pregnant and still slightly nervous around men. 

Angel was snapped out of her thoughts by her mum tapping her to tell her to round up her 'army of misfits' as they were going to apparate soon and so she got up and put both Duke and Holly on leads and let Bob resume his usual position on her shoulders. 

Grabbing her trunk and her dogs she made her way outside to apparate with her mum and brothers. 

There was that nauseous feeling that arose in her stomach as her feet landed inside the platform of  9 3/4, where the familiar hustle and bustle of wizards and witches all sending off their children to the school of Hogwarts until Christmas comes. As her eyes wondered around they locked onto four pairs of mischievous ones smiling back at her which belonged to none of than all of the marauders, clearly planning to continue their reign of trouble as the school's most infamous pranksters. 

After saying goodbye to her mum, her and Edmund said bye to Charlie and boarded the train at the Slytherin end of the huge red train. There they parted ways as Edmund found his friends and she said a quick hello to them, heading off to find her own friends. 

Then she saw a compartment door open and the head of her rather eccentric best friend Pandora pop out and call her over, just as the train begun to move away from the station. Once she had balanced herself she made her way over to the compartment to find all of her Slytherin friends already there. On the left side was Pandora, who immediately got up to hug her, as well as Regulus and Barty. On the right was Evan who she immediately launched herself onto, to which he chuckled while hugging her back. 

After hugging Reg and Barty she sat down and curled herself into Evan while Bob jumped onto Pandora's lap, Duke lay himself down onto Reg and Barty's feet, while Holly curled herself into Angelina whimpering at being shut in a small space with these new people. The only reason that she wasn't barking was because of the radiation of love coming off of Angel towards these new people. She soon quietened down as Angel told everyone to give her a dog treat that she had bought and they all gave her fuss.  

And after a relaxing journey of catching up on their summers and falling asleep, they got into their robes, just as the train  pulled up to Hogsmeade station and they got ready to enter their fifth  year at Hogwarts school of  witchcraft and wizardry.
