canon - to describe something that is true to the original story.
headcanon - something that a fan imagines to be true about a character even though no information supporting that belief is spelled out in the text.
kin/kinnie - to relate to a character, in basic terms. you feel as though you have a connection to the character, as in, you feel as though you are that character.
oneshot/one shot - defined as a fanfic that has only one chapter. ( i think.)
/pos - used to indicate that the sender intends their comment to be taken in a positive way.
transfem - from masculine to feminine. ( used google, sorry if this and the next definition are offensive)
transmasc - from feminine to masculine.
